Sorry, couldn't stop thinking about racism defintions used. Here is my list: Racism 1: The bad defintion. Saying something “Bad” about an race. - People against racism often think it is like this - Racist people often protect themselves by claiming: “Everything is racism nowadays” Racism 2: The real definition Ranking races - Used interchangeably with Ethnocentrism. - Wait, that makes us all an racist? - White Fanboy - Everything is about scoring points - Trash talk other races (for negative points) Racism 3: sideways definition Having the wrong Prejudice or using Prejudice wrong Yes, there is correct way to have prejudice. But you can do it wrong: - Lies and falsehoods - Making the majority out of the minority - Force people to act like the (perceived) majority Racism 4: It is an structural thing Structural racism - Jeah, I am not qualified to talk about that - I know it exist, but I do not know what that means for me as an white person.
Good job. I like the fact that this is a call to action to put up or shut up for those of us on the left.
The good fucking food
Sorry, I found this video an hot mess. What I likes so far is the narrow view you had. It are single arguments, so you can learn what to do when such argument arrivés. I still use the points about vegan hatred and Mondays. But this is, as a I said... an hot mess. The everyman segment was okey, but wierdly placed in the middle. And I still don't really know what it means for an white guy like me. Yes, there are people with other experiences, what a SHOCK! now what? It could have used an separate video And you have Your definition of racism goes all over the place. But that is the problem why discussion of racism go wrong so often: People use other definition. Again, this subject alone is enough for an separate video You talk about provocateurs. This is an interesting subject, but it is all... assumption. Yes, it looks like an win win, but what part of that happens consciously? How do you argue with some-one who just saw the same thing happen? (you cant argue with people who argue in bad faith). There was no punchline to take home.
> And I still don't really know what it means for an white guy like me. If a debate or argument is happening about a marginalised group, think about whether you're genuinely advocating for that group, or using them to advance your interests as a white man. Liberalism is built around the latter.
Well done.
Seems to be an audio volume jump at 13:15 Beard looking great btw
Like you had to say it 🤣🤣🤣 Dunno about everyone else, but I was excitedly telling people about it before it was even out! The finishing touches are great, BTW 😄
