School of Lust v0.3.3 is now available!
Good news, everyone!
The Closed Alpha testing has finished, so School of Lust Version 0.3.3c (Mac & Windows) is now available to all ($10+) Patrons on the Download Portal. A big thank you to all the higher tier patrons, who have been working their asses off these past few days to help track down the many bugs, so it will (hopefully) be smooth sailing for everyone else.
The new update is backwards compatible with all previous versions (save files). Please visit the FAQ page if you'd like to know how to transfer your previous save files.
If you're on Mac, and it gives you the error message "The application "SchoolofLust" can't be opened." when trying to run the game, please follow the instructions over here to run the game.
A few things to note:
We'd love to hear your feedback regarding the engine update. Does the game feel more snappy? How's the memory usage? Does it run better (compared to earlier versions) when animations are shown?
If you're using AVG, Avast or Norton (and sometimes Windows Defender), please let us know if they detect the game as a false positive. This unfortunately seem to be happening with every new update, and we have to contact them every time to have us whitelisted. In the mean while, you can add the game to your security software exception list (or wait for us to get whitelisted).
Claire & Violet's new animated scene is running on the new animation framework. This may have a bigger performance impact than the other animated scenes. Please let us know if you notice anything. You can view your FPS during the game by pressing your F2 key (fps will show to the top left).
There could still be bugs. We'd really appreciate it if you can report any issues you may come across. You can report them by either replying to this post, messaging us directly or sending an e-mail to contact@bonergames.com
The city map is still under heavy construction. There's not a whole lot to do there at the moment, besides completing the "To Whom my Concern" quest. Also, the city map is bigger than usual, so let us know if you're experiencing any frame drops.

Now that the long-awaited engine update is finally behind us, we will focus on releasing content updates. We're considering on releasing a smaller (v0.3.4) content update very shortly, which will focus on the city map and on adding a new scene or two, before we release v0.4 . We're also creating a development road map, which will be posted here soon, and we have a surprise announcement very soon as well. Stay tuned for more details!

How do I download the game? I subbed after a break. And everytime I tap the portal link. Nothing happens? I just used 12 euro. And kinda want what I payed for? Can you pls send me a link to download it?

Hi Frozen! In one of the buildings (or the only building that you can enter on the farm map), there's a vase in the middle of the room. All you have to do is interact with it. Cheers =)

I got an issue where it says i should talk to flora first... Talking to flora nothing changes... Take a walk with nicole and i can step outside... So basically i have to skip morning to leave the house 🙄

I tried opening the game and this message appeared: "Your profile can not be used because it is from a newer version of NW.js. Some features may be unavailable. Please specify a different profile directory or use a newer version of NW.js." and I downloaded the recent NW.js, but still get a black screen.
Hi Bob! Can you please try renaming the "Web Data" and "Web Data-journal" files at C:\Users\<your username="">\AppData\Local\KADOKAWA\RPGMV\ ? I would suggest renaming, instead of deleting, as this could cause problems with other RPGMV games that you are playing. Cheers =)</your>

You could help us by following these 3 steps and see if one of them helps fix the problem: 1) The game could be in a folder where permission is limited. Move the game folder to either your Desktop or to your main drive (e.g. C:\SOL\), and try running the game again. 2) Unzip the game file with a different zip tool (e.g. 7-Zip: <a href="https://www.7-zip.org/)." rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.7-zip.org/).</a> 3) Rename the "RPGMV" folder over at C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\KADOKAWA\ to something else (if it exists). Running on a Mac, it crashes on the loading screen
My anti virus keeps deleting js/plugins/Live2D.js because it says that the file is a high risk and i keep getting Error Failed to load: js/plugins/Live2D.js when i launch the game.
Hi Mind! Sorry to hear that. This is a false positive. Could you please let us know which virusscanner you use? We'll contact them to have the file whitelisted. In the mean while you can add it to your exclusion list, or if you don't trust it, you can wait till it's whitelisted. Cheers =)

Tried all of the fixes stated earlier, but always get infinite black screen when I open the game.
Ive reinstalled and saved in different locations and im trying to run from clean slate, no previous saves
game doesn't even load. i click on the launcher and it throws up the pop up window but it's continuously black

for anyone having an issue with the infinite loading screen i also had that issue but i restarted my pc and tried again and it worked (might not work for all but it might work for some) happy gaming!

So, for whatever reason, if you are stuck on the initial loading screen the following seems to get things working: Copy your save files to a temporary folder, completely delete the entire game file, then reinstall it all, followed by copying your save files from temporary folder to save folder within game.

For anyone having trouble initially running the game, right click and Run as Administrator. Probably will fix your issue
I downloaded it. but i cant seem to open it.

download worked fine for me, but its really laggy during the animated scenes. I'm talking 1-2 frames a second. Is there any way to make it so its not painfully slow? I dont know if its the game or if its my computer.

The game downloaded fine for me, but when I tried to open it after it's all unzipped, it gets stuck on the initial "loading" screen.

The game runs much smoother than the previous updates and animations aren't clunky anymore that i know of. Bit defender doesn't like the launcher of the game.
Add to the exclusion list that happened tome also when i had bitdefender on the previous versions
