School of Lust v0.3 Progress Report #3 (August)
Hi everyone! It's the end of the month already, so it's time for yet another progress report.
Let's jump straight to disappointment; Gaaaaaah!!!! It frustrates us to say this, but we won't be able to release version 0.3 within August.
In our last progress report, we said that we would do everything we can to release the new update within August, but alas. We've been developing non-stop, and we've made a lot of progress, but our work on the new update has not yet finished. We still need a little bit of time to finish the remaining scenes and on top of that we still need to fix game-breaking bugs.
That said, version 0.3 is coming within September. No doubt about it. We can clearly see the light at the end of the tunnel (unless... wait... is that an oncoming train?). We're well aware that it's taking too long, but please keep in mind that we're not developing a (linear) Visual Novel game or a simple puzzle game. We try to put some thought into it (unlike most adult games out there -shots fired-), and make sure that it would also be enjoyable to play without the kinky stuff. This takes a lot of our development time.
On top of that, the update is quite significant. Whose dumb idea was it to put this much content in the update anyhow (rhetorical question)? As we already stated in our last progress report, after this major update, we'll focus on releasing smaller monthly updates again, as it clearly makes more sense for those of you who continuously (and generously) support the development.
There is not much to say about the progress of the past week, as we've mainly spent our time developing one of the larger (and more essential) scenes (involving Flora), which is almost finished now (and we'll update the progress bar on the front page when it's done). We've also fixed a few more compatibility issues with older save files, and for those that found the bug that allows you to play more than 42 days in version 0.2, we made sure to fix compatibility issues with those save files as well.
As always, thank you for your patience and for supporting our games. Stay tuned for the release in September, which could be a week from now or later. We can't give an exact release date at the moment, but it will be within September, and we will keep you guys updated on a ~weekly basis.

10 days and no progress l report :/ they dont have to be that long or have custom images,I think everyone would appreciate any sort of update at this point. Also this is just my opinion but I feel like it is unreasonable to ask for $10 patrons to wait another 2+ weeks after $20+ patrons considering that most of us have paid $30+ since the last sign of released content.
Can we please get a update to the progress today ?
They just made this progress report on the 30th of last month, so its only been a little over a week, so we probably wont get another progess report. They will hopefully have new release out before the next progress report is due
So the 10 and 20 dollar pats currently have the same content? I upgraded hoping for more, but if not then i guess that's fine.
20 dollars gives early access for ~2 weeks before 10 dollars. So far the creator have confirmed that the 20 dollar patrons actually will get early access, so exactly as promised.

Its sad Patreon no longer accepts pre paid cards, because I don't have a credit card. Hopefully they change policy so i can continue to support creators like this.

Hi IW! Thank you for your pledge. Your download should be available on the download portal now. It takes a bit longer at the start of the month, because Patreon updates their API system slower. Let me know if you need further help. Cheers =)
try clicking random download links in the previous post. or they will probably reply with the link and tell you "hey we no longer email links, use the download site" which is the same link you were clicking the whole time. they just put the link in then and there and blame you for being impatient. if you examine most of the comments about it, it is same on all.
Just curious what the changelog looks like.
Just an idea for the next update (0.4 or 0.5), but would it be interesting if the protagonist body changed with each shot antidrogen? Stuff like height and/or muscle mass (unless that's already implemented), just thought it would be cool to see the protagonist change the more you progressed like with the main character from "Parasite" (the anime). Just a thought, waiting patiently for v0.3 = )
Hi JW! Without spoiling much, this is actually in the works =) The further you advance, the less "wimpy" the main character will get. It won't be in the next update though, so it could indeed be 0.4 or 0.5. Cheers!

Lol... No problem... Because my computer is broken... And i think I will buy an another one in 2019... So September or not... It's the same thing for me.
We are all fans and want to see this game come to life. I think people are frustrated because they thought this would be a monthly update. Most of us would probably agree giving more time to have better updates is better than updating each month and not getting much out of it i.e. couple lines of dialog and one scene. But when it is implied that the game is coming out soon and it ends up taking three months with large portions of radio silents well people get pissed. I think more posts with concept art, polls, and maybe even fan art (really just anything to keep us stoked) with more updates on the timeline that don't make us feel like it will be here tomorrow is better. And yeah honestly this has got to be an epic release! Hype levels are high and think it will not disappoint!
Okay man this had better be a sizeable update, it's been 3 months. You can do quite a lot with 3 months time. This is frustrating.

Super new, I look forward to the release of the update, I personally prefer that it takes time to release but the dev try their game is looking for the bug, is I prefer the big update, on this good luck for the rest you are almost there.
At this point it’s been 3 months since our last update. We were promised an update in June, we didn’t get it. We were promised an update in July, we didn’t get it. We were promised an update this month and, surprise surprise, we didn’t get it. It’s concerning as several of us have been paying for the last 3 months and haven’t received anything. Who’s to say that an update will even come out next month? We’ve been promised an updat for the last 3 months and haven’t had one since May. You’re going to start losing Patrons if you keep this up. I’ve seen where several people already had to drop because of the issue that they are paying for nothing. I hope the update comes next month but I won’t hold my breath... It’s kinda disappointing, man. Your content is great, really. I love the quality. But I don’t relish the thought of paying for nothing. Anyways, thanks for taking the time to read this.
Hi JS! We try to steer away from making any concrete promises, unless we're absolutely sure it will release that day. We understand how frustrating it can be if we break that promise, so from what I can recall, we've never given a release date (/month) so far, until now. Although, I do recall that the initial idea was to release monthly, but we ended up adding more content than what was planned. That said, I made sure to post this before the month ends, so those who feel like they're paying for a service (expecting something in return) and not supporting the development, can still cancel their pledge. im fine with waiting, however i can't afford to pay for next month so if it does come out next month i might not be getting anything lol. no big deal of course, just gotta wait until i get more money.
