This mod requires xml injector to work.
Notice: The Music Mixer Console contains Override interactions. If another mod is using the same files they'll conflict.

Setup your recording studio and record label lot. Set the venue type to generic. Add the Music Mixer Console.
How To Become A Record Label CEO:
Using a computer, select the "Start A Record Label" interaction. This will give you the required trait.
Use the computer to Hire A Music Industry Lawyer
Meet With The Lawyer:
From your phone, launch a social event. The Meet With Lawyer event. This is non goaled.
Click on the music Lawyer and select, Legal Service. This will give you interactions to tell the lawyer what you want in the contract. You can also just ask for them to prepare the contract for you.
After the lawyer prepares the contract, you'll have a record contract trait. This trait is removed once you close at least one recording contract with a band member.
Now you're ready to scout for talent. This can be done from the computer and Manage Record Label menu.
Add at least 4 band members.
Once you have the band members, you can negotiate a recording contract through this non goaled event. Make sure to go through the process of giving each member of the group a contact to sign.
If all the members aren't in the picker, make sure they're in the same world or add new members that can appear.
It's possible a band member may not agree to the terms or contract. You will have to counter or find someone else.
A new social menu will appear on band members. Manage Talent.
If you want to fire a band member, use the break recording contract interaction.
Record tracks are recording booth, recording studio rabbit hole. They'll go to record for an hour.
While they're in the recording booth, you can record tracks on the Music Mixer Console.
Produce a track, the burn the track. It'll go to your Sim's inventory. Once you have 8 tracks you can release an album. Click on one of the 8 cd's in inventory.

How To Install
-Unzip file. Keep all files in the folder. Place the folder in your Sims 4 Mods Folder.
-Sims 4 game options, mods and script mods need to be enabled.
-Requires the latest version of Sims 4
-If there isn't a zip file, just download all the files below, place them in a folder, then your Sims 4 mods folder.

Just installed this (i used to play the V3 back in 2024/2025) and no traits appeared in CAS. I understood the venue changes and the mixer console have changed tho. Is the new update released today the reason why i don't have any trait in CAS ? thank you for your work, help and consideration

Hi, I was wondering what the criteria for the music talent you can choose from was. I already have a household, who are a "band" and I wanted to add this mod so they can actually be a band, but they don't appear on the list, does a sim being a household member or having a romantic relationship or friendship with said sim somehow change who can and can't be a musical talent? Thanks for the answer!

Hello. I've downloaded the mod, but I don't seem to be getting all the interactions. Ive started a record label but the option to "manage record label" doesnt show up. SoI've been unable to hire a lawyer. I also havnt been able to start a band or recruit artist, not seeing the "browse music talent" command at all for that either.
Hi, thanks for the mod. For some reason when I have a meeting with my band and send them to do anything under the Record Tracks menu, they do not react and it doesn't populate in the tasks.
Are some still having issues with the burn music track interaction not showing up?

Hello for some reason, when producing a new track with my band members, I cannot burn the track?
It has a one hour in game cooldown. Let me know if it's not showing up after that. I'll also check to make sure the cooldown is removed.

Forgot to mention, I got the cc for the realistic mixer console here: https://aroundthesims4.com/objects/room_community_10.shtml#gsc.tab=0 there are two versions. On is a computer and the other is decor object.
