Very much enjoyed coffee talk this episode - Riley, if you can't currently justify a full goose neck kettle, the Hario Air Kettle is a good compromise, a big improvement over using a regular kettle for pouring, what you lose in heat (less than you'd think, it's well designed) is more than made up for with the control you get. Please extend coffee talk by ten to twenty minutes next time 🙏

Can confirm: goose neck kettle is that way to go for pouring control!

The parasocial vibes of having a delayed conversation with a host have NOTHING on the reaction I have when a podcast casually mentions another podcast I enjoy. Like I’m so glad that my friends are also friends with each other😌

FUNNY GAMES! That's the name of it. That's the movie I somehow saw on TV years and years ago that blew my mind but I could never remember the name. Funny Games. Thankyou.

Some of those pod machines you can get metal refillable equivalents of the pods (but if you're going to that much effort just get a low end proper espresso machine for God's sake)

For andrew, addition to ajvar, I would highly recommend kajmak, a sort of rich, smokey cream cheese, as the perfect traditional accompaniment to ćevapi

The breakfast hauntology made me laugh, you invented "meta-breakfast", rotating the Indian takeaway cube in my mind, lol.

Feeling the pain of having run out of the nice bread in the morning..

I like the idea of fans splicing in their voice throughout an episode so they feel like they're another host on the show, edit in various laughs and responses from past episodes as responses to whatever jokes we make.
