Okay, Being Erica Season 4, 2012 has a two minute test drive of a Ford Focus. Car placement is a forgotten feature of the 2010s and not even just in James Bond.
Before this episode I was quite sure that Hart Hanson was Hart/Hanson, like a writing duo going by their last names. What a world
hearing about what Riley eats making me want to actually be *less* healthy
Breakfast Update has a huge blindspot when it comes to items fried in butter and pork products. The healthy eating motive overrides all other breakfast motives.
I historically am shit at making breakfast but I have been doing like I guess individual serving size casserole? It's like a dozen eggs, 4 oz greek yogurt, 4 oz milk, then dealer's choice and you put it in a muffin pan to bake. This week it's bell pepper, spicy sausage, and a healthy amount of tony's. I did mozerella/mushrooms/onions/bacon crumbles last week. It's not as good reheated but it's so much better than just ADHDing my way until like 7 pm and eating a bag of shredded cheese.
Weirdly the most expensive part when I made my own chilli oil was the oil itself. The recipe recommended using Indian mustard seed oil (a sub for caiziyou) which has a lovely fragrance but is like £6 a litre. Comes out as a bit more expensive than laoganma (maybe like £11 to make a litre?) But it's sooo good! Usedthis recipe, found xiaomila (heat) and zidantou (fragrance) chillies in a chinese grocer in London, used kashmiri chillis from an indian grocer for colour: https://chinesecookingdemystified.substack.com/p/sichuan-food-like-the-restaurants
Napper Cells destroyed me.
I think there might be an alternative explanation for the Radical Honesty bit, which is the truly awful Tim Roth headed TV show Lie to Me which was basically "What if Bones but instead of bones, it was Lying?". One of the interns on that show does Radical Honesty as his character trait. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lie_to_Me
The what if Paul Ekman was really cool and not a grifter show. I bet Numbers had a guy like that too, it was what they had before they invented autistic characters.
"A Baby is not born with the spirit of Bushido" sounds like some Yukio Mishima stuff XD
Hart Hanson's final form will be a police procedural where a self-insert standin played by a handsome hunk solves murders by developing a network program about the nature of the murder. It will be called "Shows".
Shows, take these shows to show-storage!
