Balthasar Speedboat 1024: Sensual Badminton feat. Freddie McManus
For this week's bonus, we've got a Balthasar Speedboat recorded in Australia featuring comedian Freddie McManus, in which Riley determines his dream sponsor for the podcast is a wine grower that makes wine you can't buy, Milo tells the story of Russian cops' elaborate ambushes to bother people going to raves, and the group determines how to deploy an erotic edge to win a badminton match. The world is a beautiful place.

"Where I nosh off Jake Gyllenhall for an hour and forty seven minutes, yeah" 🤣😅
Riley trying go to go to a rave under one of the bicycle bridges at Wolli (pronounced Wol-eye) Creek in an extremely residential area is frankly adorable
Riley: You have discussed your friend with family in the Karzai government on at least two prior episodes of Balthasar Speedboat.
Thatcher closed down the Glue Factory?
That pH 9 guy at the party sounds like a... basic bitch
Love this guest, was hilarious
That Lebanese restaurant sounds a lot like Sexyland
And yes it IS a real place
I loved this guest, there's absolutely demand for a return
Ok so Im not even halfway through and I've heard the word "mate" so many times that had I made a drinking game out of it, not only would I be dead but you could probably cremate me by just putting me out into the sun until the alcohol in my body spontaneously combusted. 12/10 episode
One return flight London to Sydney exceeds the per capita carbon budget for 1.5 degrees warning, love TF but y'all ain't living right
If you and everyone you know went and lived in a cave it wouldn't affect climate change one little bit
Instant fumble from Milo I'm afraid. Desperate Dan was the mascot character for the Dandy comics, not the Beano. I've made note of this.
I don't think I can emphasise enough what a weird place for a rave Wolli Creek is
Wild that Riley died at the end. Can't wait to see what happens next episode
I'm one of those psychos that just enjoy the sound of racecars. Sometimes I just put on "guy driving a S2000 at the nurburgring" as background noise for working. And honestly listening to a play-by-play of the F1 by commentators on the radio would be a pretty neat way to listen to it sometimes when I have somewhere to be, kinda like listening to a podcast recap of a show. I'd have expect resident Car Guy Milo to have more sympathy for me and my breed of sickos but whatever it's fine
Sterling McGregor impression. I'm in awe.
God I love the Straya-related eps. Makes me weirdly proud of this shit (society) and beautiful (nature) land to hear Brits talk about it fondly.
This mariachi hate has me torn as a Californian bc respect to all gigging musicians..,but also when my mom wanted to book one for my cousin’s CONNECTICUT graduation party I said hey, this is weird and no one will get it and guess what? I was wrong and everyone loved it 🤷🏽♀️
As a Connecticut native and California resident, I am surprised they had a good reaction
they broadcast NASCAR on the radio in the US too lmao
