Masonic Hit Squads Part I: The Athanor Affair (E376)
A French GT champion's skull turns up in a remote forest. In Paris, two hooded intelligence operatives sweat through a heatwave in a stolen Renault with a silencer made from an applesauce pouch. Nearby, a life coach in the suburbs learns the bounty on her head is 70 grand, plus tax. Brad is here to share the intoxicating pleasure of untangling a real-life Masonic conspiracy, dubbed “The Athanor Affair.” It’s the unfolding story of a Freemason lodge outside Paris that ran a murder-for-hire service staffed by government spooks playing James Bond, if Bond were a moron. Twenty-two people are on trial at this exact moment, in one of France’s most bizarre court cases in modern times. Listen now, before the body count rises. Next week Travis will take us through another Masonic murder, set in the more distant past, in Part II. Thanks to Mathilde Huron for impeccable voice acting. http://mathildehuron.com

In regards to the Morgan affair: I'm genuinely surprised it isn't better known. I remember seeing a documentary about it on the History Channel when I was a child (back when it was actually serious and not just ancient aliens and reality shows). Stuck with me ever since.
...Was that Mathilde??
this ep is such a banger 👏🏻
This is very man bites dog. Benoît Poelvoorde could have played any one of these characters.
Disclosure day movie night!
Yay Brad!
Great episode! Could you make a episode about P2?
Glad you didn't let Jake get away with that elden ring bit bro, had me spinnin
Rust silencer lore
Sir, Operation Shoot This Guy on Tuesday is go. I've put it on our Google calendars and posted it on the company Facebook page.'
Great ep! I never knew about the extent of industrial sabotage in France and the targeting of trade union members. This story has received zero coverage over here in the UK, which I find quite strange given the connection to the al-Hilli murder. I remember as a teenager how much coverage that got.
Burger wife!
Wow. Thank god the French aren’t real
Are you guys doing that stupid thing they do in books where they put a quote at the top of a chapter? Is this going to be a regular thing cuz it's throwing me off
Very excited for the Morgan Affair book! A huge influence on the writing/"transcribing" of the Book of Mormon and Morgan's wife became one of Joseph Smith's first polygamous wives. It also created one of the political groups that would eventually lead to the republican party. Very excited for new info in Travis' book!!!!
Wait there’s a Mormon connection!? I knew both took place in New England in the same period of revivalist fervour but I’d never joined the two together in my head! That’s really interesting. I know the book of Mormon includes some stuff that’s pretty much straight from Freemasonry.
Great episode by the way. Very intriguing, will look out for the verdict in July . Also interesting that there's a connection to the French Alps murders ( the " Chevaline massacre") of 2012. I remember that story at the time and it didn't seem like just a random attack or an act of road rage. A link to the Luger then? Some good research also there,Brad 👉
Lovely little Jake rant again, " five fucking dollars!" 😂 Worth every fucking cent/ dime/ penny / whatevs!! Keep up the good work. Looking forward to episode 2 and Travis ' s work. More to come and more Cursed Media? Hell yeah! Can't wait!! 🤗
This QAA fan would be very excited to see Brad’s new documentary in Austin.
Lol. You have to be so high... level to craft an apple sauce packet silencer. 😂 but also, im pretty sure they just described an ice stakeout from 2025. 😬
"Operation Rough-Up The Old Lady"? Did they not get the memo after the "Operation Blow Up The Boat" attack on the Rainbow Warrior?!
I’m surprised they didn’t call one, Operation Kill the Arab Union Leader with a gun bc we don’t like workers rights. Maybe these names sound more mysterious in French.
Insane story, kind of surprised they managed to keep it all up for so long given how incompetent pretty much everyone in that org was. I guess sometimes all it takes is one concerned bystander for all your espionage plans to unravel
wake up babe Brad ep just dropped 🚨
MATHILDE!
MATHILDE!! So good to hear her voice!
A mission homo involves a LOT of foam parties.
are you going to pride? no I'm going on a mission homo

I am genuinely shocked this has received almost no coverage in the English language media.

I had the same question...
