GB Patreon: Q&A Access Poll
Hey people! I've got a poll for all our patrons today. Basically, there's a Q&A every month on the Patreon, backers are able to ask questions and I record myself answering them and release a text transcript to go along with it.
Players are allowed to ask things about sneak peeks that are only on the Patreon, so I've kept the answers only for patrons. But most of what I answer is information that isn't a spoiler. It's possible that people would want to talk about it outside of the patron. So, I'm making this poll to consider changing how the Q&A works. We could either, one, keep it exactly the same or, two, go with this other arrangement.
The alternate Q&A style could work like this: You'd need to be a backer to ask questions, you could still ask things that are private to the Patreon, and the audio recording would only be on Patreon. However, the text version of the questions and answers could be posted on our public socials. We'd remove any questions for unrevealed info, like about Project W. And anyone who asked a question could leave a note saying that they don't want their question included in the public post. In that case, we'd leave it out of the free-to-access version. The Patreon version of the transcript that has everything in it would still exist and be available for patrons.
This way, people could speak openly about what they've learned about the characters and the game's development with the many players who aren't here on the Patreon.
Changing the way it works will need to be a clear winner for us to go ahead with it. If the results are totally split (or if changing it obviously loses), we'll stick to what we've already got. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to leave a comment!

How do you partake part of the Q&A? Is it part of the discord? I am having trouble finding an invite to the discord.

Sharing a spoiler-free version of the transcript on public socials would be a really nice way to share the hype with other fans of the series. It sounds great!

Would there be a way to get a patreon-only text transcript as well if we open it to non-patrons? I know it'd be extra work on your part, but I much prefer reading the transcript to listening to the audio, but still want to hear about patreon stuff
Yeah, the transcript wouldn't change for patrons. The full version will exist for here and an edited version would be made for socials.

I'd be fine with a spoiler-free version of the q&a being made available publically, just so long as this doesn't mean taking away the transcript for the full version of the Q&A. It's a bit of a struggle to actually listen to the audio recordings so I prefer to read the transcript

At first look I didn’t like the idea of sharing with those “not patreon” (lol) people, but I swear this fandom is already so small I’d be elated to have more things to talk about with people
I know right? I don't want to sound mad or disappointed in the Discord Channel, maybe I'm just unlucky or they don't like me XD But I tried talking to people there and let's say that while they weren't rude or anything I was often ignored during conversations. It makes sense since they all knew each other most likely and I just joined the discord but it was a bit disappointing (obviously it's no one fault) and I managed to have more conversations about it with people on Reddit for example.
I’d actually really love if the transcripts were avalible in other places!! That way the friends I’m getting into OL can still hear or- read(???) the QNA’s without having to pay (we’re all broke) and we can YAP ABOUT THEM
