time for joe to get eating on that boot he promised to about hohenheim/father, one among a couple
I think the reason why original greed is different from GreedLing is because the original greed underwent an entire character arc for decades(i think they said over a century or something) and GreedLing is a fresh construct on the same personality pattern without that long personal development
The thing that's great about Nier automata is that each character has a different combat style and they all feel great. They managed to make hacking feel epic
Jay or pay jay
Joe, hearing the word "Malazan" come out of your mouth hit me like an activation phrase, hopefully the obtuse worldbuilding doesn't put you off too much, because there's a lot to love in those books
I made it through the first 2. I know a lot of people love it but the style is just not for me.
Civ 6 has to be Nate's most recent game, I've played enough of that one to know he has with his comments on it.
Shout out to my other autistic homies battling the tax man and burn out!
The woman in episode 27 is Honehiem’s memory of Winry’s grandma. She’s got the pipe!
The woman Mr. Ho was talking to in his dream was Pinako, Winry's grandmother. In an earlier episode its mention she and him were old drinking buddies and we see what she looked like when younger. It was a loooong while ago though lol. Enjoy those boots you promised to eat Joe... Though its understandable, the series is set up to make you think Father is Hohenheim and then purposely pulls the rug out from under you lollll. Gotta disagree on the OP, the 3rd is my fave... I am biased tho because it has one if my faves in it and I like the time loop aspect. Also I am a little freak who loved the 2nd op Chase from JJBA part 4, which was widely disliked so... Excited for more
I don't think I've ever seen a JoJo intro I don't like.
For the record, Square Enix (by which I mean specifically Business Division III) has done some incredible work with Final Fantasy 14. Unfortunately, as has always been the case, they're held back by the dumbest goddamn upper-management in the business. (The early parts of that game are pretty rough, but like. The game prints them money, so they COULD fix it, but upper management just sees ff14's success and goes "ok but what if we had ten of those" and siphons off all the profit for AI/NFT games)
I was Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the screen when Tom talked about the autism tax. When I went to DragonCon in September, I had such an overwhelming day on Saturday that I literally just stayed in my room and played video games on Sunday.
Tbh they gotta handle crowding at the gcc. Been there for momocon and if there is something else happening at state farm or mbs, the area can really overcrowd
I will not say anthing, because i dont want to spoil anything.
Speaking on games. I started replaying Alien Colonial Marines on steam. I know this game doesn't have the best reputation. But God damn I forgot how much this game bridges the gap between Aliens and Alien 3.
As long as you don't do anything unexpected, hopefully the AI won't break and start being extremely silly?
I feel intimidated by the more recent Fire Emblem games because of how they've started to have routes like a visual novel instead of one big story, which makes me feel like I'm going to get through like 1/3rd of the story and then stop for way too long because I'll finish a route. However I also just don't have a Switch/Switch 2, so I've only experienced Three Houses via emulation and quit because I thought the teaching part was too slow for me.
If you got something shaking hands then it has to be the clap eh eh eh But I think Joe's Slangssmoutseller got mixed up & sold him some cotton candy flavored Metamvitamins
The seven VICES (less useful to think of them as Sins, go back beyond, they are vices oppositions to virtues (continence to lust; temperance to gula; friendship to greed, constancy to sloth; humanity to invidia, patience to wrath, humility to pride*) aren't "thought" crimes they are about interaction with the world. Sin means transgression, a break of relationship. Human Transmutation is a "sin" not because of some law or ban (chrysopoesis is a crime because Law), it is a sin because of the perspective it needs. Human transmutation is bluntly, the emblem of dehumanization, seeing people as resources; the regarding of people as things. Think not Yung, think more Zoroaster, Hairystottle, suchlike. Ditch psychologists *note how the homunculi are not without their opposing virtue but display it in fucking spades
I am so excited to see you guys reactions for later episodes
I didn't like the new Fire Emblem until I played my second part 1 route, it eventually clicked for me.
Perfect timing. Doing these weekly is a stroke of genius.
