Joe, if you want to become a world record holder you only need to beat 153 hours for the longest single podcast episode. British Empire would easily do that.

Excited to hear that Joe wants to do an episode on the Anglo-Burmese War! I did both my Bachelor and Masters dissertations in History on Burma, but moreso the colonial period that came after the wars with Britain.

Breeding friendly English people? You mean Canadians? New Zealanders?

What if Tom found true love? Like he is just spending his days in a little garden with his new partner. They are sharing little sandwiches and genuinely enjoying each other's time. Both, just wishing the other one would make the first move. Which one will it be? Is it bound to happen? I AM SO INVESTED NOW.

Is the venom factory next to the dick sucking factory? If so can we assume that there is an intense rivalry between the Brotherhood of Dick Suckers and the UVW? The BCD is a craft union of skilled workers, while the UVD is an industrial union, representing all the workers in the venom factory. From this we can extrapolate that two very popular football teams have their roots this rivalry. Both of the teams have devoted fan bases and the annual derby comes with outbreaks of head butting and other forms of hooliganism?

I need you to know that that was very funny, but I do hate you now

The United Venom Workers Union would have the sickest emblem. Also, the process through which you get the venom from a snake is called Milking, so they are snake milkers.

Really missed the "gaping the anus of context" segue.

Don’t google that anime nate mentioned, I was curious what was bad about it, and literally the first thing you will see will deeply disturb you, this stuff is horrible

Very amusing. Is shotacon/lolicon so outlandish and unknown now in our new puritan internet that even after all these years, people react this way?

Is this the first British East India Company episode? Feels like a long time coming.

Sadly, no. By 1891 India was under direct British rule and had been since 1858.
