Some advice about the next chunk of episodes: 1. Episode 27 is a clip show. I would personally suggest watching it and skipping through the recap clips because you get a bit of a reintroduction to Hohenheim, and your mileage may vary, but I think you can get something out of it. 2. With episode 27 being at least partially skippable in mind, I figure you might get to episode 30 in the next chunk of episodes. I'm sorry to spoil [?] this, but episode 30 is going to get into war flashback stuff, and unfortunately it IS only the one episode and stuff got cut out that's in the manga (this was a terrible decision on the show director's part). SO, I highly recommend that you read chapters 58-61 of the manga, because Arakawa put in the effort of talking to actual soldiers, this is a military podcast at it's core, and some of the stuff that gets cut out of the anime is REALLY GOOD.
