Is your favourite Warhammer 40k faction the White Monster Brigade?
For Joe: please tell us, in detail, the story of how you broke Nick's leg
Do you read the Patreon comments?
What series are you doing for your tenth anniversary? I've been here since before your move to Hawaii, and I miss the long form series like the Afghan war! (although I'm very much enjoying the Imjin war)
What were your guys career tracks? What was it like when you went to full time podcaster?
Play kdc2 and cover hussite wars!
Grants knows what’s up. Play Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and cover the bohemian civil war leading into the Hussite wars. Christ it’s the dawn of gunpowder on European battlefields. I don’t think viagra could get your history nerd dicks harder than this
Which author do you feel did the best job of channeling their military experiences into good fiction?
Which nationality makes the best hummus?
What faction would you play as in Warhammer?
Joe vs Patrick Wyman in the octagon, who wins?
Make it Pay Per View, I've got a dollar!
You've said before that no one has won a civil war. Does the Sri Lankan civil war qualify and are you planning to do an episode on the Jaffna offensive and how it led to the end of the war?
What's the shittiest book you've read and loved as an adult, and why? I don't mean genre fiction. I mean objectively 'this is a shitty book' but something about it grabbed you.
I know that Joe, i think, once said that he's willing to cover everything. But how do Tom and Nate see this? Are there episodes they will nope, or have noped, out of? And then as a side-question for Joe: What is something you would love to cover, but you're afraid will get too much backlash/you can't find a cohost for?
Do you think pears have a weird texture?
Oh, fill out the form. Following directions is hard.
You suddenly find yourselves in 14th century as knights. What type of sword are weilding? Thrusting, slashing or something other kind. Great, bastard or long.
Who would win in a bar fight, Shrek or Chewbacca?
Shrek is an ogre of peace. Chewbacca must have mortality insulted Fiona and the kids to get him to fight.
Not a question a demand. Do the patlabor movies for lions led by robots
Hey fellas! What video games are you playing now and have you considered a video game podcast in the vein of Lions Led by Robots?
I'm newish to the patreon so this could have been answered before, but what are thoughts on the other only military history podcaster in the world, Dan Carlin?
A full military is for some reason left to the command of the the LLBD hosts and guests. What's the command structure? Who's losing the most men?
Also, thank you so much for the years of hard work. Yall got me through the pandemic and I look forward to every new episode.
Hubris followed by agonizing extended failure and swift collapse. It’s a story you’ve done before, but never on terrain so suited to Joe’s knowledge. Please do the Yzerplan!
You used a really shitty drone in Afghanistan, what do you think of how the tech has advanced and being used today?
What is your stance on 2hour YouTube video essays? Would you recommend any of them?
As a firsthand witness to the buckfast, will you ever disclose the events of the live show in Belfast?
What's the most expensive thing you've broken at work? (and can talk about)
Both of my sons commissioned as artillery officers. How fucked is their hearing going to be when they retire?
Don't worry, it's not service related.
Any chance of a pivot back to movie based bonus episodes as the standard? I've enjoyed the recent FMAB run so far, but having to wait a month for the next installment of a review is a lot more inconvenient than the one movie one episode format.
I’m new to the Patreon and I’m not sure if you’ve talked about it in the past, but what are your thoughts on Black Hawk Down (the movie and the book)?
I do believe they do a few episodes touching upon the movie. I could have sworn it was lions who did a media extra episode of the movie. I can't find it so it may have been a hell of a way to die/dad.
What's Tom's grievance with Say Nothing by Patrick Radden Keefe. He made an offhand remark once and I've been dying to know ever since.
Some people have criticized it for being focused solely on Irish Republican crimes and errors, and in particular those of the Gerry Adams faction, and downplaying British and loyalist excesses. Also, the book relied a lot on the recollections and statements of a handful of Irish Republicans who were alienated from Sinn Fein and Adams and perhaps had axes to grind and in some cases had personal issues that made them unreliable narrators.
favorite piece(s) of horror media?
What is your favorite LEGO set?
Does Nate or Tom listen to Ween?? Joe, I know your taste, you need not apply.
The boognish smiles upon the LLBD
How so you feel about the audible narration for hooligans of Kandahar? He sounds goofy as fuck lol
