Goated episode
🖤❤️💛❤️🖤❤️🖤
... fun fact: the monocle was a prominent lesbian icon like, 10 years before he would have been doing the 1940s/50s version of trying to make the hat work. now, I'm not saying this is the equivalent of wearing carabiners and flannel while you try to make the hat work, but i will say that maybe if Crabb had lived 2 years longer, he might have seen a very, very interesting article about a certain GI becoming a Blonde Beauty.
actually the chain smoking should have made him perfect for scuba diving every single instructor I have ever known smoked like a fucking chimney and used no air . only reason I ever considered starting smoking to get better at scuba diving
He become a podcaster
Introducing Joe "The Amateur Flagpole" Kassabian
In the words of Sergey in The Wire - "Does he have a head? Does he have hands? If so, then it wasn't us."
53:50 into the episode - my theory is that the Soviets were aware that the Brits sent someone to take pictures of their boat the first time around and put their OWN rubber fetishists in the water pre-emptively to see if they'd be stupid enough to try it again, and when they did, a scuffle ensued and naturally Crabb was not built for the underwater fight of his life and was either killed in the scuffle, or had a cardiac event or something, which is why the SOVIETS didn't say anything about the affair other than the admiral doing a cheeky "some of my guys saw some zoidberg looking dude in the water." I bet the answers are in the Kremlin archive. It could also be that the Soviet admiral was aware that the Brits did the secret dive the first time and decided to take a jab at the British delegate, and it just so happened that they DID do it that time as well.
just like the NYC rug guys
I’ve never dove in 1940s dive gear, but I do feel the need to mention that modern scuba requires just about zero physical fitness Many a time I have been on a dive trip and run into a group of gross old men getting blackout drunk the every night and then doing 6 to 9 hours of diving the next day in 40 degree F water, hungover and vomiting through their regulators the whole time I think Commander Crabb was a shoe in for his role
Personal theory, he hit the propeller and it cleanly sliced his head and hands off in one smooth motion
A very Matthew Charles Lamb early childhood
Checked out ladaniva, they are great! Good recommendation
If you're looking for an embarrasing song that goes overly hard at the gym, I strongly reccomend one called "Unhinged Fat Latina Porn" by a band called Circle of Despair (I think its on soundcloud). You'll be deadlifting small buffalo.
sounds like my typa guy tbh
I almost feel sorry for any Israel supporters that going to that football match against Ireland in September.
Tom's laugh is hoot! When Tom laughs, it's a hearty-ass laugh. Happy Podiversary, Tom!
If Nate gets put into a coma after everyone pelts him with muffins, this is all your fault Tom.
Consider this my preorder commitment for a Leonid Craboff shirt, I need to confuse everyone around me
I listened to LLBD during my last 10k. The one training dogs to be racist against the Japanese.
LIONEL LIONEL LIONEL LIONEL LIONEL LIONEL LIONEL LIONEL LIONEL LI
Enough of this foolishness! I’m going for a scuttle! 🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀
B-b-but most people think I smell like a burning zoo!
I’m enjoying the back to back dudes rock. Makes think August should be dudes rock month
Favorite Tom moment has to be “Gone off that Mount Paektu Kim Il-Sung Juche perc” god bless this Irishman and his weird precognition that only comes through as riffs.
Heavy days for me is nothing but straight up grind. Each song is rought 30 to 40 secs, perfect for low reps. Light days: I like to listen to thrash or early hardcore. Something that feels like it has a bounce to it. Easy to lock in , follow the rhythm and just rep out. Cardio: Folk music Legs: Nu-Netal. Spineshank and Fear Factory hit differently with squats.
How did he float to the surface with all that ballast?
my ears perked up hearing both Ladaniva AND budots
There is a significant amount of Dua Lipa in my lift mix and its a feature not a bug.
ball knower alert
Maybe you can’t get double vision from being drunk if you only have one eye
Me doing 155lb back squats just blasting Teagan and Sarah.
bro they could've just said he was testing experimental diving equipment. coverup so easy
Genuinely one of my favorite parts of this show is when Joe hits Tom with an utterly baffling "Hold that thought"
Amazing title for this episode. Reminds me of that episode Thom said there was someone in the UK who would slither around in a snake suit iirc.
The Wirral Cat Man!
If you made a Royal Navy Loser Flotilla t-shirt, I would buy it
"Did he have hands? Did he have a face? Yes. Then it wasn't us." Sergei Malatov.
I think this might be the most insane "hold that thought" episode ever
Highlight of my day: discovering that there are water based uncs who have existed and shocked that they weren’t Dutch
Big win for all those rubber freaks out there (it's me, I'm freaks)
Underwater Soviet CRAB BATTLE A knife is useless against those massive claws! They could rip a tank apart!

Let a thousand blossoms bloom
My favourite Tom moment is the incredible off the wall riffing in Alvin York about illegal blacksmithing
I learned about the screaming nuns from Tom and I'm interested.
The Losers Flotilla could've easily defeated the Germans/It, they just needed to embrace the power of being a little freak in a rubber suit.
Can't believe that man isn't french.
England and France invaded each other so often there's some decided traits of both in each.
That's certainly a title to see at 0800hrs in the morning~ 👏🏿 👏🏿👏🏿
Just let out an audible sigh when I read the title. Lord knows I'm about to listen to this while I eat my cereal anyways.
I'd like to protest. I missed breakfast this morning because I took your advice and then couldn't eat anything after I heard "... farts like chocolate milk"
