EARLY EPISODE: The Siege of Kars
Towards the end of the Crimean War the Russians invade the Ottoman Empire, coming up against the Fortress City of Kars. Command of the Ottoman forces fall to an old drunk, British man who may or may not be the bastard child of Prince Edward, all of the Turkish officers under him are actually Hungarian, and one American catholic.

The exception to the large menu rule is family owned Chinese places. Every one I've been to that has like 400 items on there kicks ass
Sometimes a place with a giant menu is bad in a compelling way. There's a place near me that has an unreasonably large menu but fuck do they fry a hashbrown
I keep saying, if Michigan and Ohio can combine our powers, we can take out the great evil that is Indiana. I'm willing to negotiate. Toledo is on the table
We also need a series on the dude from Philly
We need the LLBD treatment of the 1848 Revolutions
Pizza is a triangle but, it can be a square and a circle. It’s the perfect shape
Smash burgers fucking infuriating me.
As a Disneyland (in CA) cast member of 9 years, we dont get the tunnels thats only in Disney World in FL. So if you had the misfortune to work all the way on the opposite side of the theme park (like where Haunted Mansion/Splash Mountain) is, then better add in 15mins of walking to and from just to clock in. Good news is Disney finally settled a lawsuit with employees to back pay for the fact we have to go thru security as well and that is an extra unpaid time that Disney now needs to back pay for
frankly, i love the micky mouse voice and whomever disapproves can get the wall
Good save about Karsh. Stood up suddenly and shouted WTF? Yes please don’t confuse him with being an American. He’s Canadian. You can have Linda McCartney.
All this flying lead, all this flying lead Running through my head Running through my head Running through my head
That song has already been stuck in my head the last two days for some reason. You have ruined my Friday, sir.
Flash photography of food looks like dogshit anyways.
A guy lost his hand riding pirates of the Caribbean in Disney world. So it’s happened. 😂
Come for the history, stay for the sexualization of Fog.
Smash burgers are so disappointing, just give me a normal patty.
I want a Mickey mouse voice acappala version of the opening. I have zero problems writing my Congress person buckos.
I must point this episode dropped on Monday November 10, 2025 (for me, west coast US). The 50th anniversary of the sinking of SS Edmund Fitzgerald. Joe is clearly in league with Gordon Lightfoot’s ghost.
"get saluted, idiot" lol
William Williams sounds extremely Welsh
“Grub” - brilliant wit. Really
AAAAAAH one of the dumbest sieges in a dumb war full of dumb sieges…
Gentleman, you ask us to rate shapes but there's no point. Everyone knows the hexagon is the bestagon.
Joe is like Martin Luther in that both have a Diet of Worms.
Bless you, Tom. I’ve been calling for the Balkanization of the United States for years.
Was at the Glasgow live show. Can confirm I saw Joe scavaging for worms in an alleyway. He was safe though, Tom was chain smoking and brandishing a length of chain at anyone who thought to interfere while Nate yelled at them.
Joe and Tom talking about the ideal number of sides and corners in a shape is something I never knew I needed. I'm also trying to get into origami and the polyhedral, multi-sheet diagrams are fucking with my head.
I'm from the UK but live in Germany where it is normal to tip. But when I was in Copenhagen I tried to tip and the guy was like "don't you think I get paid enough?"
if you encounter someone from the north of Ireland, or from Scotland (or anywhere else related in sectarianism) , and they're called William? 100% of the time they're a prod. Absolute guarantee thing and entirely because of William of Orange. (I am Scottish, and personally atheist, but my middle name is William, my mum's older brother is William, my grandpa's middle name was William, his dad was William, etc)
As an actual old person, I agree with the guys who are almost 30 years younger than I am about things in restaurants. For example there's a gastro pub in the city where I live that is notorious for three things, the giant menu, the needlessly loud music and the whole wait staff doing heroin on the roof of the building. Their service when the place is busy is only made worse by the heroin thing.
Don't EVER be done with the Mickey Mouse voice. EVER. Mock the cartoonishly evil until the very end.
the instant coffee don't do that to yourself
I’m sorry I was just picturing this whole episode in the Cars Universe.
I love how we are slowly evolving into geometry humor. Before you know it we will go from a crisp white monster to a plane white monster. 🥁
Hexagon is the bestagon.
You know I’m succeeding if you see my dodecahedron.
Ah that siege of Kars. I thought we were back in WWI.
Money too expensive and time too short for bad food. If I go out and get bad food, I ain't eating it, I ain't paying for it
Armenians and Azeris literally doing the, “why should we change, [you’re] the ones who suck” bit from “Office Space”
Your next line is "Is that title a Jojo's reference?"
I have a confession to make: I fuckin' love the Mickey Mouse voices!
It tom and nicm doing the mickey mouse voice that funny and great because they do it good and also the slight Irish accent makes it more funny. It Joe that does it mediocre
How in God's name did you go this entire episode without mentioning Eric Adams?
OK, hear me out. Lions Lead by Donkeys live from Crimea.
Now I have tattoo stuck in my head
Here in my Kars You feel safest of all You can lock all the doors It’s the only way to live In Kars
