Patronichi: first steps of the kingdom...

Hello amazing patrons! It's been so exciting to get into fun art and programming with Patronichi after finishing up the menu! Today I was able to load the patrons into the rough sketch of the kingdom, as you can see below..

At the very top of the image you can see the castle, which then leads into town with a central fountain. to the south you can see the edge of the tavern and church. Even further south (not pictured) is a farm and small lake!

I loaded in the sketch of the kingdom so I can start mapping out wander regions without having to make all the polished art. When this part of the game loads, each supporter's 𝓁𝒾𝓉𝓉𝓁𝑒 𝒻𝑒𝓁𝓁𝒶 will be given an area to wander around in, dependent on their role! so you might see the priest in the church, the librarian in the castle archives, and so on. Nobody is walking right now since I created new bodies with outfits instead of one sprite, but I'm planning on adding that functionality tomorrow.

During work, I have been adding your suggestions from yesterday's post into a spreadsheet so I can keep track of all the events, and writing all the other ones out! It's honestly a little frustrating having to wait until I get home to do the programming and art which is the real meat of game development! I'm really hoping my progress doesn't slow down too much by that.

Anyway, thank you everyone so much for writing out your cute event suggestions! some of them were really funny and clever and I'm so stoked for the game to officially release so everyone can enjoy them. That's all for today, save for your next thank you joke:
