ASM Leviasynth Review + downloads
Hi - I hope you had a good weekend!
Kicking off this week is literally something massive - Leviasynth from ASM. It's not a Hydrasynth MK2, but rather something different based on the same interface and some shared components. It's an interesting take on a new interface style for operator synthesis, with algorithmic crossfades and an analog filter. All that's new in the video!
I've attached 15 minutes of me playing its presets, in both audio and video formats.
I'll also be uploading multi-samples of it to the Modulator and WaveShaper tiers towards the end of the week, as I've got a couple to work on this NAMM week....
More coming soon!

The more I think about its design, the more I like it.
Great review. Interesting that ASM chose to go with the analogue filter, which has no doubt pushed up the price. Korg's Multipoly has a great sounding digital filter that can be modulated at audio rates, so it can be done. However, the Leviasynth sounds great, and the UI for sound design is a massive strength. I can't see it replacing my Hydrasynth, but I do like it. There is a lot of competition for space in my studio. Perhaps if the desktop version came down in price a bit.
Thanks!
