KPV: KAOSS PAD is back, and it's user programmable!
Hi!
First NAMM drop (of 4!!) is here: Korg's KOASS PAD is back in the form of KPV, and interestingly, if you're up for the menu diving, it's now a user-programmable multi-effect (along with other updates). Unlike the NTS-3, where you've got to code and compile to create your own effects, KPV lets you chain its internal modules, and adds 4 LFOs, 4 envelopes, 2 envelope followers, and a matrix audio mixer to the party.
That said, with a 4-character 7-segment display, the process is tedious and not fun. Hopefully, they'll come up with a computer editor to make things easier, because the selection of modules and modulation possibilities is very impressive.
All the details in the video!
More coming soon...
Ziv (I never thought I'd be patching with an XY pad on a youtube channel called "Loopop"...)
