Monthly art for May 2025!

UPDATE 3: Hey folks so I am here again one more time with the sticker art for May! I wanted to try and do something sort of card-esque. Maybe a little tarot inspired. Anyways it was fun to draw and I am excited to actually get them printed and cut. The postcards should be arriving in the next few days and then I'll be getting everything packed and out to you all. Thank you again for the continued support as always!

UPDATE 2: Hey folks. Unfortunately the initial KL art I was working on just wasn't coming together for me. I kept iterating and trying things and just wasn't happy with it. I know it may be a bit odd to some but when I make these illustrations for the prints I typically have small narrative bits behind them in my mind and this is never more a focus than in the KL pieces. As most know it is a project and a world that means so much to me that I really want to try and have meaningful imagery to go along with the feeling and story of the art itself. So because of that I had to pivot in order to still be able to actually get the prints in on time. So I went back to a piece I did a month or so ago that I adored and decided to use that for this month's print. This leaves me a little less stressed and allows me to try something a little different than I typically do to have some small bit of writing to go along with the art. I will make a separate post for all of that a little later in the month as to keep things a bit cleaner but I hope you'll look forward to it.

Next steps for the monthly art mail now will be getting the art for the stickers sorted and I'll be sure to update this post one more time when those are all set.

I have a couple other smaller KL things I am hoping to get out before the month wraps up so watch out for those posts as well. Thank you all so much for the continued support of the project, myself and my work.

UPDATE 1: Hey folks, I am back with a little update on this month's postcard art. I have most of my shapes and details in and will be moving to color and secondary details. I wanted to go back a bit with this one and work for more of a still/screen shot feeling with it. I am hoping once the color and all other extra bits are in it'll really come together into something neat. I should be getting this art all wrapped up this week and then some fun sticker art to go along with it. Thank you all for the continued support of myself and the random projects I get up to.

Hey folks, so the new month is here and I have started the ritual! This month is all about Knight Light as has been the tradition. I have a concept in the works for this month's print but as I am often wont to do I will see how it goes and keep the door open to abandon this entirely in favor of something else lol.

Anyways this is my rough for now and we will see how it goes! More updates ad other stuff soon.
