Look inside a bit
Hey y'all.
So I thought it could be fun to share with you something I have been noodling at in my free time a bit. As I mentioned in the previous post I have been stirring ideas on updating my personal branding and a hopeful, refresh to my website. My website needs to serve many functions so I try and make it in a way that is fun for me and hopefully for folks coming to it for whatever reason.
That all said the images in this post are what I have been building for the brand guidelines and some ideas on example pages for the website. This is all still very much a work in progress as I search and find things I want to do and some things I want to tweak still. A lot more assets to make and the like but I think I have a nice feel of the vibe for it and the use cases. I want to have a few little animated bits as well if I can figure out best ways to implement them across the site as well as some little characters and illustrations that will be sort of the "custodians" of my website. Little butler bots or something is what I am kind of thinking currently.
Once I can finalize the guide and things I will roll out updated assets for socials and youtube and all that. Which speaking of youtube I do have a recording that is about 45 minutes real time and sped up to about 22 minutes at double speed which is recording the screen of my ipad as I doodled this knight. I know folks chatted a bit about different takes on the timelapse videos with a bit of chat and narration so I need some help. If you are into these style videos let me know what you'd like me to address. Process stuff, design things etc? This will help me nail down a few talking points throughout the video where I'll slow things down a bit and chat and then speed back up for the non chatty bits.
Thanks for the continued support and all the fun folks, I hope to bring a bunch of fun art your way this year and hopefully even more random neat little projects. As always, be good to yourselves and be good to each other.

These colors are great! As a graphic designer myself its really fun to see you making some brand guidelines thanks for sharing
Thanks Tomas! I don't get to dust the graphic design hat off as often nowadays but I do still enjoy it quite a bit when I get the chance. It's always a lot of fun finding ways to blend my illustration and design sensibilities together.
Super cool. I love all the colors you picked, they work together really well.
Thanks Zach!
