Monthly art for February 2025 - Under Way!

STICKER TIME: Hey folks so here is the sticker art for the month. Apologies in that I forgot about it. I thought for some reason I had already made them but when I was packing the prints yesterday I realized, oh no, I haven't. So I made this up this morning and should be getting them printed and cut in the next day or two in order to get the art mail envelopes out by the end of the week. Apologies again.

UPDATE 3: Alright folks we now have a finished illustration! This was a ton of fun to make and I basically worked on it all last night. I got the files sorted today for print and will be sending that off soon but also, because I was curious and thought it would be fun I also wanted to try out what a one color version could look like and maybe as a new t shirt design for the shop. I am trying to add more new stuff there this year anyways and the more of my own characters the better I say. So this is up here now if you're keen and don't forget, as a patron you have access to coupon codes in the shop that should be in the pinned info post on the Patreon here.

You can find this shirt and everything else in the shop here.

UPDATE 2: Another update! Alright so I spent a decent bit of time last night watching some Elden Ring let's plays and drawing characters haha. I got a few more characters added to bring the piece to 6 total which I think is a good number. I have a couple more things to get drawn in, mostly some decorative elements. A couple bits of smoke and kunai, some flowers/leaves, you know standard stuff haha. Once I get those in I will make a call as to whether I want to keep the textured lines or clean those up (currently leaning toward keeping as I like the crust) but we shall see. As for color, that is another thing I am back and forth on. Part of me is thinking maybe some halftone and monochrome work could look really cool but we'll test it and see how it looks. I am trying to allow myself some more space for trying new stuff this year in my work so hopefully we get some neat stuff out of it. I even think stuff like this could be really cool like t shirt design or something too. Anyways that is all for this update <3

UPDATE 1: Hey folks, so I've just added another sketch with a second composition which if I'm honest, I'm having a lot more fun with. I thought it could be fun to pull in a gang of characters from the KnK world and make a fun collage style illustration almost in the vein of character pieces from some of my favorite comics and manga. I have a couple more characters I may try and get in here which haven't even been designed but I want to at least try and see if I can get something down to really make this a fun design. I hope y'all dig it and I'll try and update again soon.

Hello lovely people!

So a new month is here and while I am a bit behind on some things due to a busy January I am now stuck in on getting started on this month's print art. As has become a tradition the last couple of years, February feels good for frog swordsmen so I'll keep that going this year. I haven't fully decided on a composition yet but I sketched this out earlier and really like it for the most part. I think the robo-snake isn't my fave but I'll noodle with it and see if I can salvage it or swap some bits around to make it work. If not I have a couple other compositions/concepts in mind I'll try.

I'll continue to update this post with sketches and progress as I make my way through the art for the month.

I also have a couple other little things in the works which I am hoping to share more this month as well. The hopes and goals for the patreon in 2025, more work on the website redesign and brand update, youtube videos (Once I can actually film and record the intro and VO for the knight art that video will go up lol) and some other things.

Thank you all again for the support. Now more than ever independent artists and creators like me are doing everything they can just to get by so the support you all show me here month to month is truly appreciated.

Be good to yourself and to each other.
