Jan & Feb Recap + What's Next
Hey all! The first few months of 2025 have been packed with the Cursed class update, 7 new subclasses (4 with the Fractured Realms theme), 6 5E.24 backgrounds, freebies, and tons of Erenel lore updates. And remember, you can always find everything in the 5E Vault or use the Collections tab to keep up with the latest releases!
Lets quickly recap what's been brewing in 2025 and what's coming in March:
Cursed Class Update
Cursed Class Update
One of our most popular classes, the Cursed had a major update, refining its mechanics, adding new mutations and expanding the themes of its subclasses. If you enjoy playing characters that transform into horrific creatures and customizing mutations, be sure to check out the latest update.
Fractured Realms Subclasses
Delving into the strange and unknown, these subclasses explore themes of dimensional rifts, forgotten places, and cosmic energy:
Cleric: Portal Domain. The Portal Domain offers divine power to walk the infinite pathways of the cosmos.
Paladin: Oath of the Rift Warden. Paladins who take the Oath of the Rift Warden are stalwart guardians against interdimensional threats, dedicating their lives to sealing planar rifts and protecting their world from otherworldly creatures.
Sorcerer: Shattered Star. A star didn’t just explode, it tore a hole in the fabric of existence, scattering star shards that ripped across reality. One of those shards embedded its essence in your lineage, infusing your bloodline with a stellar pulse from a broken dimension.
Warlock: Mirror that Wasn't. Somewhere, there’s a version of reality that never should have existed, a twisted reflection that was erased, or almost erased. Your pact is with an echo of that impossibility, a contradiction lingering in the corners of mirrors and the spaces between moments.
3 More New Subclasses
Barbarian: Path of the Icebound. Barbarians who follow the Path of the Icebound are forged by the unrelenting might of winter itself.
Rogue: Glimmershade. A Glimmershade is deeply entwined with the magic of the fey. These Rogues draw whimsical power from the Feywild, using illusion, misdirection, and bursts of dazzling magic to outwit their enemies.
Wizard: Flesh Weaver. Your studies treat the boundary between life and death like clay in a sculptor’s hands. As a Flesh Weaver, you don’t just animate the dead, you craft new creations, stitching together the fragments of once living beings into something uniquely monstrous.

What's Next?
The Reaper Class. Thanks to your votes, the Reaper class is the next full class in development! Design is in progress, and I can’t wait to share more details.
Class Updates. Two classes should see updated releases very soon. The Golemancer is getting balance and mechanic tweaks. The Daywalker is undergoing heavier revisions to bring it up to par with 5E24 martial class standards. If you're into lore, the Daywalker will have more extensive lore offerings to build your character.
Blood Hunter Subclass. It's been a long time since we've introduced a new Blood Hunter subclass. That changes in March with the Order of the Crimson Wyrm!
