This is by far my favorite show to listen to, so I will happily pay more for additional content. We are all brainwashed in America since birth to believe many things, so this show definitely helps to pull back the curtain a bit. I was just in San Francisco, staying in the Haight-Ashbury area, so I visited the new counter-culture museum there, which had some nice content on the 1960's, but there is quite a bit of homelessness and drug use in that area now. There was this promise of America in the 1950's and 1960's that has gone away and/or been usurped by greed. It is good that Judge can make a living with this podcast, as I do wonder what Ezra Pound's life was really like in his later years, after so much of what happened to him..... and the same goes for Oscar Wilde. My point here is that very creative people are (usually) not rewarded or recognized in society, even back then, but perhaps even worse now. I still need to read Confidence Man and Pierre from Herman Melville, but his short stories (Bartleby, BIlly Budd, etc...) and Moby Dick really drive home this point that intensely creative people may not be rewarded at all in their lifetimes. Anyway, here's looking forward to more shows from Judge, and hopefully stable health.
