New Millenium Boyz by Alex Kazemi (Patron-Only Early Access/Ad-Free)
One of the strangest modern books I've encountered. A portrait of the American male teenage experience at the end of the millennium in the underbelly of the suburbs.
For fans of Gregg Araki and Bret Easton Ellis.

I was in college during at the end of the 90s, and it very much was like how you describe it. Of course, my goth and broke ass didn't own a tv during college and was totally into whatever pretentious nonsense I was into. I am looking forward to reading this. I remember people yelling "TRENCHCOAT MAFIA!!!!!!!!!" at me and friends after Columbine. Thank heavens I drank and did drugs then.
