[Vampire+ Release] Version 0.20.4 Tech Demo

Hello everyone, Corintio here!

Today is the very first step of the massive overhaul that our game is going through: The release of the first playable demo past the beginning of the optimization process!

This demo doesn’t contain any story content yet, since the focus here was to showcase the new spells and also to test how the game will run on people’s PC despite having a landscape that is way much bigger than the one we had before.

There are a few things to keep in mind:

• We limited the playable area so you don’t get lost on the empty part of it.

• The vegetation and ground materials are placeholders, just like everything else you’ll see here.

• The performance had a leap compared to what we had before, but it is still not final. First, because we haven’t added towns yet, and secondly because the LODs of the open world are missing. When you open this level, you’ll basically load everything in kilometres of distance, which is not how the final version will be. But notice that even though you’ll load so much more land, the game will still run better than it ever has in the former open world.

• The Hexblades are still using the dialogues from the dungeon, and the sex scenes are not using AI during the gameplay. We didn’t have time to work on this yet. But that’s fine for now because they are acting just as dummies for you to test the spells.

And now to the changelog!

Fixes:

• Fixed textures on Kalyskah’s elegant dress, also its physics.

• Removed a lot of unnecessary code that was impacting performance. This job isn’t done yet!

• Fixed Kalyskah moanings not playing properly during scenes.

Enhancements:

• Redid from scratch the way we used to store NPCs in our game data tables

• Bronwyn will have a slightly different face than other males. This is just a test yet.

• Double-tapping jump while flying should make Kalyskah cancel Dark Ascending or Swarm Form spells if they are set like the ones on the double jump key.

• Redid the whole Save\Load system. We are preparing the ground for when we start having abstract NPC data on it that can transition between several levels.

• Readded a few more of the old NPCs to the gallery. Their kinks are not configured yet.

• Added a few more oral sex and normal moaning sounds for Kalyskah during sex scenes

Features:

• New prologue landscape: The areas on it are still being built.

• New NPC: Galena. She even has a whole different voice acting done by Lady Lustria.

Several new animations for Kalyskah +2 males’ threesome poses:

• 2 new loops

• 18 new interactions

New Spells

Weather Control:
Kalyskah bends the weather to her will (For now she can only make it rain when the sky is clear or clear the weather.)

Queen of the Rats:
Rats will no longer run from Kalyskah. Allowing her to feed more easily.

Unlimited Swarm:
Kalyskah will no longer consume her stamina while in swarm form.

Swarm Fist:
Kalyskah gathers the bats to swarm into the battlefield.

Unholy Might:
Kalyskah learned how to harvest the unholy might of stolen blood. Whilst the blood buff is active, Kalyskah will get a buff in all her attributes equal to the amount of blood drops she currently has (The spheres under her blood points)

Forced March:
Kalyskah learned how to push her body to keep high speeds for longer. Every 5 seconds that she keeps sprinting, she'll get a boost of speed until she moves 5.2 times faster than usual!
Her speed will boost faster during the night.

Hyper Velocity:
Kalyskah moves so fast that she seems to blink to the place she wants to go or the nearest obstacle on her way.
