[News] Working on a new quest!

Hello everyone! As we push forward with the Combat and NPC rework, the writing hasn’t stopped!

We have concluded the Cargo at Bay quest, and we moved on to writing the following quest a while ago. But to offer you a sneak peek, here are some things you can expect:

• Previous choices in the Black Rain quest will affect how you approach this quest.

• There’ll be a possibility to have an erotic encounter with the Velez siblings. One of them will be voiced by the same French actress who voiced Heather and Catherine in the Garden of Earthly Delights! We’ve already written the branch where Kalyskah can have an encounter with the male character, and we’re now writing the encounter with the female. We’ve taken into account the feedback you provided on our last post about Kalyskah’s personality to design it.

• This quest will open the port of Tupelo as an area for exploration. We’ll add some merchants there who, for now, won’t have voice acting, but that will be added in the near future, as our goal is to make the city feel more alive than before.

We’re also revising some of the cutscenes you can find in the Fallen Temple era, such as Alvina’s cutscene, which didn’t really have all the emotional beats we wanted to build yet. Lidia is also returning to voice another character in Tupelo, which will set the groundwork for “why did Kalyskah have that reaction when she saw Nemesis?”

We are aiming to release the patch within the next week. It won’t feature this quest we’re working on yet unless the combat takes longer to finish. If that happens, we’ll start implementing it before the combat is done, so we can release more content at once.

If we finish the combat earlier, then we’ll release Cargo at Bay sooner, and the first part of this new quest later in June, since it's quite a big one and will allow you to see how Kalyskah used to handle people who weren't directly under her sway!
