[Vampire+ Release] Version 0.31
Hello everyone, Corintio here!
It took us a lot of work, but we can finally bring you the new patch!
It includes one of the most complex cutscenes we have ever worked on, but it is still not exactly where we want it to be yet. You will notice there are still a few missing audio moments, especially when the crowd speaks, and some extra polish is still to come. That said, we believe the quest is already in a playable state, and since it's been a while since our last release, we want to get it into your hands already!
This update adds the new Tupelo questline, Black Rain. It triggers immediately after you deliver the quest Slice of Life. For older saves where you may have already spoken with every NPC involved in Slice of Life, I cannot guarantee it will always trigger cleanly at the correct step. If it does not, I recommend going back to a point where you have not yet delivered Slice of Life or completed all of its NPC conversations. In some cases, that will ensure the new quest starts properly, and you will be directed to speak to Galena to continue.
I hope you enjoy this patch. It has been a massive amount of work.
This month, we are going to keep pushing forward with another new quest that is already mostly recorded. We do not intend to lose momentum. We also hope to deliver the first preview of the new combat system later this month, so stay tuned!

Fixes
General stability and polish
Additional stability fixes to reduce rare breakage from content changes.
Housekeeping and asset cleanup passes that might slightly improve performance.
Known Issues
Black Rain cutscene polish still in progress
Some crowd audio moments are still missing in parts of the new quest cutscenes.
Ambient dialogue is not fully hooked up
Some newly added voice lines are present but not yet configured as ambient barks.
Older saves may not trigger Black Rain cleanly
If you completed Slice of Life a long time ago and already spoke to all related NPCs, the quest may not trigger exactly as intended. If it does not, roll back to a point where Slice of Life is not fully delivered or where you have not yet exhausted all NPC conversations, then progress again.
Streaming is still being stabilised in places
Some areas may remain loaded more aggressively than intended while streaming work is finalised, which can affect memory or performance on some machines.

What do I have to pay to play this?
Will the game be controller compatible?
We made some steps towards it on some of the latest releases, but the menus are still missing full controller compatibility. The goal is to eventually get to the point where you can play 100% with it!
