[Patron Release] Unreal 5 Showcase!
Hello everyone!
This version wasn't fully ready to be released, but since we are travelling to record the motion capture for the new combat, we decided to speed up to have something for you to see this month. We are aware of missing features (They are being reworked) and stability issues that can happen while navigating your inventory.
Still, all things considered, I'm truly happy to share with you the first step of this new journey we are taking in Unreal 5. Not everyone will be able to run this version yet since we didn't have time to add all the graphic settings that would allow you to disable RTX and Lumen, but give us a little more time and we'll get to that. I hope you like it!
Note: Sometimes going back to the main menu and re-loading the game can fix the drop in framerate since I believe opening and closing the inventory is what's causing the issue.

But this version is unplayable for video cards without rtx support because we didn't add settings to remove it yet.
Dammit, I deleted a comment by accident while trying to edit my reply.
One hour later ... After I reduced the framerate (MAX FPS) and graphics (all to HIGH) the game was running ok. I restarted the game. I checked framerate and graphics: they all showed again max level but the game was running ok. A special request: PLEASE store the sound-settings :-) It's very annoying to start the game and to have the ambient music in max level.
Ohh yeah,the settings aren't working very well yet. All of these are known issues thar will be patched when we are back from the mocap recording
Did anyone of the developers run the EXE-file ? The file INPUT.INI is empty (...\AppData\Local\Kalyskah\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor). So it is not possible to do anything. After correcting this I continued. Vampire-view does not work - the screen is red. But worse: the game is very laggy, almost not usable (thanks to Unreal 5 ???) I'm frustrated.
Plugin 'OodleData' failed to load because module 'OodleDataCompressionFormat' could not be found. Please ensure the plugin is properly installed, otherwise consider disabling the plugin for this project. unable to launch the game :(
Hmmm anyone else have this issue? I'll open a post to collect feedback
