[KT] Our furry friends
Almost all outfits parts have been converted to the new body model and all morphs (more than 220 while the previous model only had around 30).
Before working on the last ones, I had to take a break from blender and decided to work on the fur rendering for animals. The previous shader doesn't work anymore with the HDRP renderer and I had to create a new one. Here is the result (WIP).
Fur length, density, direction and curvature can be controlled using a control map and numeric values. I can already achieve different looks without modeling. Everything is generated procedurally.
Screenshots aren't very suitable to showcase fur rendering. It actually looks better in motion, especially when TAA (Temporal Anti-Aliasing) is enabled.
So, I still have a few outfit parts to convert and the hair parts. The hair parts should take less time since there are only a few head morphs to do (lips, nose and chin morphs usually have no influence on hair).
