🚀 EvoForge — Major conversion improvements
Another major update focused on improving conversion accuracy and overall compatibility with Assetto Corsa mods.
This update brings improvements to transmission, turbo, tyres, sounds, physics, visuals, cockpits and more.
🏁 New features
Approximate PI generation
Opponent livery selection for solo races
Major tyre improvements
The original car manufacturer is now correctly detected and restored instead of being replaced with the EvoForge brand.
⚙️ Transmission & Turbo — Faithful to the original mod
This pass focused heavily on the drivetrain.
We directly compared the Assetto Corsa 1 and Assetto Corsa EVO code to verify, type by type, that each converted differential behaves like the original mod.
All 385 cars in our test corpus were successfully reconverted without errors.
What changed
AWD / 4WD
AC EVO was only applying front/rear torque distribution for certain types of centre differentials. As a result, converted AWD cars were effectively running 50/50, regardless of how the original mod was configured.
EvoForge now preserves the original distribution. A Gallardo, for example, can once again send almost all of its torque to the rear.
Electronically controlled centre differentials also reproduce the initial torque build-up from AC1.
Electronic locking differentials
As in AC1, the electronic controller now replaces the mechanical locking behaviour instead of being added on top of it.
This restores the expected behaviour of affected cars, especially when accelerating out of corners.
AWD systems — ATTESA, Haldex, etc.
The conversion no longer reads settings that AC1 itself ignores in these modes.
The front-axle coupling of cars such as the R34, Alfa 155 V6 and Celica ST185 is now correctly reproduced instead of receiving only a fraction of the expected torque.
Differential adjustment ranges
Non-adjustable differentials were sometimes inheriting completely incorrect adjustment ranges, going as high as 70.
This is now fixed.
🌀 Turbo — Boost by gear
Cars using gear-dependent boost — such as the Subaru Impreza, Ferrari 488 GTB, SF70H and 991 Turbo S — could previously remain stuck at very low boost levels in EVO.
EVO was not correctly passing the current gear to the turbo system.
EvoForge now works around this limitation, allowing boost to follow the selected gear just like in AC1.
This has been validated in-game on the Subaru Impreza.
The boost-by-gear curve is also available directly in the Tuning tab.
🪟 Glass & windshield fixes
A complete pass was made on opaque and incorrectly rendered glass.
Reversed glass faces now receive their own vertices with correctly flipped normals.
Glass remains visible from both sides, like in AC1.
Each face now has the correct normal orientation.
The change only affects glass from affected mods; healthy glass and other parts remain untouched.
Windshield duplicates are removed, leaving a single layer facing the cockpit.
As a side benefit, rain/wiper bake overlap has been reduced from 1,095,606 texels to just 10.
New conversion log messages — AC1 BODY VITRAGE and AC1 WINDSHIELD — indicate when these fixes are applied.
🔊 Sound
CSP sound settings are now properly transferred from the original mod:
Volume
Pitch
RPM range
Engine
Turbo
Backfire
Gearbox
And other sound sources
A bug affecting compressed-sound mods was also fixed: engine settings were not being read correctly, which could result in silent turbos or incorrectly positioned sounds.
🏎️ Car behaviour & physics
CSP anti-roll bars now use the correct stiffness.
For example, the S13 was previously 2.25× too soft in roll.Extended CSP physics are now detected correctly.
Physics features that cannot be converted are explicitly reported in the conversion report.
Suspension bump stops now reproduce the actual AC1 stiffness.
Gear changes are no longer incorrectly rejected — 57 cars were affected.
Wet and intermediate tyres now correctly outperform slicks on wet surfaces.
The conversion report now identifies tyre behaviour that cannot be transferred to EVO.
🛞 Tyres
Another major improvement to tyre conversion:
Every compound keeps its own texture, including tyres coming from CSP-installed archives such as the F1 2026 package.
The correct archive location is now detected.
Sidewall textures are fixed: inscriptions are no longer stretched at the bottom of the tyre.
Bright tyre colours are no longer incorrectly shifted — the Pirelli blue, for example, no longer becomes cyan.
Tyre type is now identified from its physics characteristics, rather than relying only on its name.
🎨 Visuals & materials
CSP material effects are now converted more accurately:
Carbon
Chrome
Metallic paint
Iridescent visors
And other material properties
Each livery keeps its own:
Paint finish
Driver
Helmet
Suit
Other visual fixes include:
Correct body colours per livery — the Ferrari F2004 is red again.
Cockpit reflections no longer inherit the body colour.
Removed flickering between overlapping surfaces without moving the original geometry.
Fixed jagged artefacts around windshields on cars such as the Subaru and M4.
Cutout transparencies such as grilles and logos now render like AC1.
Aero elements are locked to the position displayed by AC1, while adjustable parts from the original mod remain functional.
👤 Driver
The driver's head movement is now much closer to AC1.
This is particularly noticeable on drift cars: the driver's head follows the car's direction of travel and properly looks into the direction of the slide.
🪞 Mirrors
Mirrors now display the correct image without stretching the aspect ratio.
Note: the Multi mirror mode must be enabled in the EVO video settings.
🖥️ Cockpit & aerodynamics
CSP scriptable displays are now converted.
Animated lights are converted, including rain lights and ERS indicators.
2026 active aerodynamics and DRS are now converted.
F1 ride heights are corrected.
As always, the goal is not simply to make a car work in EVO, but to make the converted car behave and look as close as possible to its original AC1 mod.

When will the official version be released and then offer a one-time purchase price?
It says The page you are looking for is temporarily unavailable. what should i do?
how do i download the latest version?
Hi ! Update is automatic from evoforge. You can install it form join.evoforge.fr
I have the experimental version, from 27/09/26, is there a newer one? I cannot see the version number in the about tab.

It is wonderful how you kept making improvements one after another to create such a great piece of work—thank you.
Nice!!!! Is it possible for evo forge to update my cars for me yet? Or do I gotta do 90 cars manually? haha...... please tell me its possible....
Currently no sorry :(
