[DOWNLOAD][FREE] 🚀 EvoForge — Massive Update: A Complete Converter Overhaul
Hey everyone!
This is by far the biggest EvoForge update so far.
Almost every part of the converter has been reworked from the ground up: physics, tyres, animations, materials, sounds, drivetrain, lighting, and more.
Cars converted with this version are no longer comparable to previous builds. The difference is huge — they now stay much closer to the original mod instead of being built around the donor car.
Please perform a clean installation.
🔥 What's New
🏎️ Physics — Rebuilt From The Ground Up
The physics skeleton is no longer just a modified donor car.
EvoForge now rebuilds the vehicle physics to match the original car:
Suspension geometry
Spring and damper rates
Bump stops
Anti-roll bars
Weight distribution
Damage model
Steering behaviour
Each component is transferred individually, following the behaviour observed between Kunos' own AC1/EVO vehicle pairs.
The result: a car that behaves like the original mod, not like the car it was converted from.
⚡ Electronics & DRS
Electronic systems are now transferred much more accurately:
Traction control
ABS
Electronic differential
Single-step systems
DRS support has also been improved and is now correctly transferred.
⚠️ Some cars may have functional DRS logic but no visible wing animation yet. The system works, but the animation may still be missing.
🛞 Tyre Physics Improvements
Another major pass has been made on tyres:
Grip behaviour
Load sensitivity
Temperature behaviour (warm-up & cooling)
Reference pressures
Tyres are now matched to the closest EVO tyre range instead of being approximated.
🚗 Animations — Including Fully Working Wipers
Animations are now imported from the mod itself:
Doors
Bonnet
Boot
Pedals
Gear lever
Handbrake
Pop-up headlights
Windscreen wipers
No more fallback to donor car animations.
🌧️ Wipers deserve a special mention:
They now actually wipe the windscreen.
The wipe area follows the real blades from the mod, rain reacts naturally with gravity, and the glass genuinely clears.
Even some cars that never had functional wipers in AC1 can now have working wipers in EVO.
💡 Headlights & Lighting System
A huge amount of work went into the lighting system.
Lights are now classified based on:
Mod declarations
Mesh names
Light colours
Including (This is highly experimental and doesn't work very well.):
Low beam
High beam
Daytime running lights
Tail lights
Brake lights
Reverse lights
Indicators
Turn signals now work, including on mods that never had them in AC1.
Reflectors and chrome light bowls also react correctly with their corresponding lights, closer to how real factory vehicles behave.
⚠️ Lighting is still the most complex part of the converter. Results can vary depending on the car, and improvements are still ongoing.
🎨 Visual Import Quality
A major visual improvement:
✅ Interior materials recovered
✅ Exterior materials recovered
✅ Missing/generic-looking parts fixed
Ambient occlusion has also been improved through a custom workaround, since the factory method used by original cars could not reliably be applied to converted vehicles.
A huge thank you to DirtyAlien for his extensive testing, detailed feedback, and expert advice throughout the development of these improvements. His help has been extremely valuable in pushing EvoForge's visual quality further.
🔊 Sound System Overhaul
Sound conversion has been heavily improved.
EvoForge now remaps:
Engine layers
Turbo behaviour
RPM ranges
onto the mod's original sound samples.
The result is much closer to the original AC1 experience.
Still not perfect, but a huge step forward compared to previous versions.
🔥 Exhaust Flames
Backfire flames are now transferred for cars that support them.
Positioning may still vary depending on the exhaust layout.
⚙️ Drivetrain Transfer
The real drivetrain is now preserved.
Examples:
AWD cars remain AWD
FWD cars remain FWD
RWD cars remain RWD
The conversion no longer forces vehicles into the donor car's layout.
📏 Track Width Fix
Some cars previously ended up with unrealistic wheel spacing.
This has been fixed.
Wheel placement now follows the same rules used by the game itself.
🛠️ Turbo Tuning Fix
For some turbocharged vehicles, the boost controller curve was missing from the tuning menu.
This is now correctly imported and editable.
🔊 New Sound Information Tab
A new sound tab has been added.
It shows:
Imported samples
Their origin (AC1 or EVO)
How they are connected
For now, this is information only. Editing will come later.
📦 Smaller Builds
Build packages were containing unnecessary unused files.
The packaging system has been cleaned up, resulting in significantly smaller .kspkg files.
📜 Updated Usage Rules
EvoForge now includes clearer usage rules.
Before every conversion, users must confirm that:
✅ They are the author of the mod
or
✅ They have permission from the author to convert it
Converted vehicles are intended for personal use.
Mods are creative works made by their authors. If a creator does not want their work converted, please respect their decision.
Thank you everyone for your support, feedback, testing, and patience.
This update represents a massive amount of work, and I can't wait to see what you create with it. ❤️

Sadly I cannot get it to install ! Just gets stuck on Bootstrap building templates? Tried fresh installation Verified games files Disabled onedrive Excluding EvoForge from antivirus. Just completely locks my pc when I try to launch. Have to force a pc reboot.
There are different types of FMOD to download. I know nothing about it, this is the first time I've even heard of FMOD! Is 2.03 the correct version?
this is great! new patron here
Wow! Thank you for the amazing work! I love to See the Original AC Cars in Evo😍 can’t wait for further Updates! Some cars already driving amazing! It would be cool, if we could Change the Volume of the Backfire Sounds of the cars in EvoForge 😍
It will be possible in next version ;)
When I convert some KUNOS cars, the driver's hands are not on the steering wheel. On some cars, they are slightly to the side, and on others, they are slightly too wide or narrow. Is it possible to adjust the position of the driver's hands? I drive in VR and it's distracting and annoying.
I’ve tuned a few original ACE mods now. It works great for many of them. However, with some, while I can make changes in Evo Forge, I’m unable to apply basic modifications in-game. For instance, if I try to change the color of the M4 or the 296 GTB, the game crashes. With other cars, like the Lotus Emira or the Lambo STO, everything works without a hitch. Is this still a bug, or am I doing something wrong?
Hi there! Thanks for the valuable feedback! It is indeed a bug; I'm making a note of it for later. I've still got a lot to do, haha.
When I import some special vehicles, the character positions are incorrect. What should I do?
Nothing with the tool yet. You can use the SDK, but it is complicated to use.
How can this be resolved? Creation failed: Sample Mod introuvable — place "Sample Mod-*.zip" dans Téléchargements ou renseigne SAMPLE_MOD_PATH
Hello, did you do a clean installation of EvoForge? Try placing it on your desktop. Normally, the `sample_mod` is already included in the archive, and it should detect it automatically.
Thanks for a great mod. I've had great success converting my mods. The only thing that's not coming across properly is the tire rubber. The sidewalls are invisible and the surfaces are white or grey. Any ideas how to fix?
Hi ! You can try to swap them in the sdk editor or wait for the next update :x
Some cars are good, some ok, others not but it s a good job, unfortunately the sound for all cars is always the same
You have to install FMOD for the sound
Hi! Works everthing fine. Just curious is it possible to fix the driver's position and scale?
I'll try to fix that for the next version.
Great beginnings here but some way to go. In testing maybe 20 ac car conversions so far, I am yet to get one which is really drivable or worth keeping. Modelling and skins are great 95% of the time but audio never works well and the physics are quite a way off. The progress for this early stage is quite remarkable really and has potential to be an incredible tool for the community when it becomes more refined.
Having tested a bunch more since, I have had a fair bit more success overall. I'm guessing csp physics are best avoided at the moment for conversions. Either that or I've just been a bit unlucky with those. Audio still isn't great even with Fmod and it's quite frustrating to get a good conversion but have it be stuck using the wrong tyres. A lot of mods that should be on race tyres end up being given supercar tyres. I'm testing a whole bunch of kunos and community mods and the kunos ones are generally a bit more successful, which I guess is to be expected. Still very impressed overall with how far this early development has already gotten.
Again a big step for modding in EVO, thank you
Fantastic work. Many thanks for your effort. However, there are still a few errors with the conversion. Some mods have two exterior colors (e.g., a black roof and the rest red). The red converts correctly, but the roof ends up being white, for instance. With some mods, the driver is too big; the helmet pokes through the roof.
Hi! Thanks. Yes, I'm aware of those two issues; I haven't worked on them yet! And as for the driver, there's still a lot of work to be done—it's very basic at the moment.
Oh damn im Working rn i want instantly go home and test it😂👍👍 thx for your work and updates❤️❤️❤️
