I have some thoughts on Woke 1 vs. Woke 2.
Typical wokelet, complaining about a joke! I'm so typical! I'm such a wokelet also!
In this video I'm making the case that actually being woke, the first kind of woke (where we have crazy coloured hair and pronouns) is and always has been good actually. You've been fed a load of horse hockey that being woke is embarrassing or alienating to "normal" people, by a bunch of fuckin' weirdos who desperately want it to be true.
It is the unwoke who, in fact, are the alienating, militant weirdos.

Hey thought slime! Just wanted to say I dig ur new look!
thank you Mr. the Canadian
Completely unrelated (but, as someone who was brought in via your YouTube post about your patreon, I feel I might get a pass for now), your hair is looking cute as heck!
My current version of woke 1 and woke 2 is, woke 1 was us asking nicely.
Loved it. The points is good, the jokes is good. I don't know if this is helpful or if it's too late to grab a quick voiceover or what, but just in case there's time before it goes up to everybody: Kamala Harris pronounces her name with the stress on the first syllable, not the second. We haven't had to hear about her on every talk show in a minute, but nevertheless!

Aye, it's me, Bobby Duke! STAHR OF DA CHANNEL!
I absolutely love this video. I've been commenting on the sōsh meeds recently about how we just shouldn't include people's looks in any insult we make about them, and have been struggling to non-annoyingly present my argument to replies (the authors of which, I assume, are annoyed with me). It's difficult to non-annoyingly explain that they need to look inward and figure out *why* the "ugly" part of their "ugly fascist" insult is so important to them...because then I need to non-annoyingly explain that if they want to shame fascists out of being fascist, they need the "fascist" part of their insult to do the shaming...and then I need to non-annoyingly explain how, if shaming doesn't work, then maybe shaming isn't the way to solve this problem...and on and on and on. It'll be a relief to not need to try to be non-annoying. Now I just need to figure out how to be compellingly persuasive *while* being annoying. And how to remain kind through all of it. Shouldn't be too hard, right? ...right?
I always just say, "It's perfectly fine to insult people over what they can control and completely verboten to insult them over what they can't." Stupid haircut? Yes. Balding? No. Weight? Absolutely not. Terrible clothing choices? Go for it.
One thing that i know everyone knows but i wish got mentioned more often is, how the word "woke" started out as Black slang (arguably dating back to like the 1930s but going mainstream during the BLM movement) to simply signify awareness of racial injustice. It was then co-opted by white racists as a sarcastic and derogatory term, and has largely become ENTIRELY that second meaning. So yet another good and cool thing invented by Black people, then stolen by their oppressors and used as a weapon against them (and other vulnerable people).
I had a whole rant about that which I cut, because I knew the minute I brought it up everyone who needed to hear the rest of the video would stop listening.
Digging the new looks and the hot, fresh content there Mildred.
but when are we going to have Woke 3.0, the Woke that has hyperlinks!?
Woke 2 is the the one with hyperlinks! Woke 3 is the shitty one with crypto
Yay!
We don't have Woke, is Pepsi okay?
Pepsi is the New Woke
I too am not over it about the Maine tattoo war crime r*** guy, or this one online politics show producer guy who got real angry at everyone with eyeballs.
I am both excited for new Thought Slime, and sad that I will now know what people are talking about when they say weird off-putting nonsense like Woke 2.0
Well I meant to post this tomorrow, but hit the button. OOps! Enjoy I guess!
It's ok. I'll pretend this doesn't release til tomorrow.
