🔓 PROJECT DOWNLOAD: Flawless GASP Retargeted to Manny (UE 5.7)

Hey everyone!

First of all, a massive thank you for supporting the channel and backing the development journey. Your support keeps the lights on and allows me to deep-dive into these systems!

Here is the fully working, bug-fixed project files for the Game Animation Sample Project (GASP) fully retargeted to the UE5 Manny skeleton.

Getting Motion Matching to behave cleanly on Manny instead of the default UEFN character took a ton of grinding, tracking down rotation bugs, foot placement, foot sliding and rebuilding animation data, but it is now running flawlessly in Unreal Engine 5.7.

📦 What’s Inside This Download:

• Fully Retargeted Manny: This set up currently has game ready locomotion of GASP retargeted fully to the UE5 Manny.

• Bug-Fixed Motion Matching: No more broken root motion or weird foot sliding, snapping during locomotion.

• Default Setup: I kept all the logic and folders as it is. Just few logics for bug fixing.

⚠️ Important!

• Engine Version: This project was built and optimized specifically for Unreal Engine 5.7. Opening it in older versions may cause errors.

• Movement Framework: This setup is built strictly using the standard Character Movement Component (CMC). It does NOT use the new Mover character framework.
