Born with a rare pure-yin constitution, Sang Wanning mistakenly believes that Shen Yuji, the man she is about to marry, is the person who once saved her life. Unbeknownst to her, Shen Yuji has already died in battle, and the man who takes his place at the wedding is his younger brother, Shen Yuchen, her true savior. But Shen Yuchen's memories of rescuing her have been erased, leaving him unaware of their shared past.

Rather than welcoming her as a beloved bride, the Shen family has brought Sang Wanning into their home for a far more sinister purpose. They intend to use her blood in a ritual to break a century-old family curse and resurrect the dead. As eerie blue flames flicker within the mansion and its residents conceal their true intentions, Sang Wanning finds herself trapped in a deadly scheme, with the man who once saved her now seeing her as nothing more than a sacrifice.
