After a painful breakup, journalist Wen Zhi gets drunk and accidentally mistakes a sharp-tongued younger man for her blind date. Their unexpected encounter turns into something far more complicated when she discovers that he's not only her new neighbor but also a doctor she meets again during an interview. The biggest surprise? He's her best friend's younger brother, the very guy her friend once described as someone no woman would want to date.

What Wen Zhi doesn't realize is that their seemingly chance encounters have been carefully orchestrated. Behind his teasing and sarcastic remarks is a man who has been determined to win her heart all along. As his persistence and affection gradually break down her defenses, an unlikely romance begins to blossom.
