After eight years of a secret marriage, Wen Zhiyan finally walks away from Shen Jihan following his devastating betrayal. Determined never to let another man hurt her again, she closes herself off to love. Even when she finds herself drawn to Zhao Xuanzhou, her powerful yet surprisingly gentle boss, she is afraid to trust her heart again.

But Zhao Xuanzhou isn't willing to give up on her. Instead of pushing her, he patiently stays by her side, hoping to earn her trust. Meanwhile, Shen Jihan desperately tries to win back the woman he took for granted. As the three become caught in an increasingly complicated love triangle, long-buried secrets about Wen Zhiyan's identity begin to emerge.
