Cultist Crush v0.1 launch!

Cultist Crush started as a learning project a few months ago, and somehow it's now a real thing with an actual first build out on itch.io. So here I am on Patreon, which feels a bit wild!

Basically: Cultist Crush an adult gay text-based life sim where you play as an exiled incubus trying to romance a small town into becoming your cult. Gameplay revolves around relationship-building, daily schedules, with a cast of characters who actually have personalities. A little quirky and a lot horny.

The longer version is that I want to build a simulation game that feels alive. The game is inspired by those traditional "procedural simulation games", where you can explore a world and build your character how you want, but with characters that have real personalities and unique visuals. Characters you get to know over time, who reveal more of themselves the more you invest. A world that keeps expanding. That's the goal, anyway.

Why Patreon?

I want to keep updating this game roughly monthly, and support is what will make that realistic. Every patron means I can justify the time this takes and keep the builds coming.

There's no elaborate tier system here yet. Right now it's simple: you support the project, you get early access to new builds before they go public on itch.io, and you help decide what gets prioritized next.

Where things are at:

Version 0.1 is live. There are three characters, very few locations and scenes. Eugene has a decent amount of content. Freddie and Todd are in but slim (they're next). After that, more characters, more locations, more ways to spend your time in the town of Weyrwood.
