Gonna share this interview as best I can. I smell a coup attempt from everything that James has checked off. Gawd, I hope it doesn't come down to that kind of scenario. Unfortunately, there are more elements contributing to it than he has mentioned. For example, as you mentioned, they've knowingly closed polling stations so voters have to line up for hours and many just give up trying. They've purged voter rolls with a nefarious "cross check" program that finds individuals with the same names in different states and tosses out both namesakes' votes as invalid, with the false claim that one person had voted twice. Not coincidentally, the vast majority of these "duplicates" are black and brown people. And then there is evidence to show that they actually hack the voting machines, flipping votes, because the declared results and the exit polls differ by more than the margin of error. So then… they've taken steps to prohibit exit polls to cover their tracks. And the icing on the caca are the Proud Boys, the Oath Takers, the white nationalists, the "militias," the gun-toting sycophants, and the Qanon with their tin foil hats who are even now bending over backwards to suppress the vote. The world is turning into an outhouse, but America has now become… its basement.

I have to say right now i am glad i Like in what is called a 'Blue State' New York - not a time i would want to be living in a swing state with all the overt shitfuckery going on. That being said the support group i run the anxiety levels are high with everyone. One interesting side note is that this is not just about an election of fascism/BAU - it is also about people wanting to save lives because of the covid-19 response, while it is difficult to tease out whether or not it is motivating people to vote in a particular way - it does seem like it is a defining topic even with people that might have voted Republican in the past. Not that there are a lot of republican climate chaos supporters in the group that topic tends to preclude their inclusion. But anxiety levels are at an all time high with the American members with people making plans to stay home and not go to crowded places. People are also seemingly also dealing with acknowledging that the USA are not the 'good guy's they were propagandized to believe in so it is deep trauma for many. The unravelling of a belief system as well as dealing with covid-19 and election is proving a real shit sandwich. Of course one aspect worth noting is just how ignored the population has been and how absolutely desperate people are because there is no social support financially - they have been totally abandoned and people are really agitated including the brethren of IQ45 - so a lot of that frustration is being brought to the situation too. Honestly anything could happen - Watch This Space. Winter. Is. Coming.
