WHADDA YA TAKE ME FOR
A short while ago a friend of mine who loves music and is an audiophile complained to me that it seems all the songs I write and record have heavy subject matter. He asked me why I don't write love songs and the like, so I wrote this performed all the parts and recorded it for his benefit. I don't use A.I., auto-tune, pitch correction or any programs that allegedly make things "perfect," or help write the music and words. It's all me, for better or worse. See what you think...something a little different than my usual serious thread.
On a different note (no pun intended) next week the 1611 Fellowship will get into Ephesians chapter 1. Hillis will bring a quick message on "empty believism," often called "easy believism."
I'll be sure to post it as soon as it's edited.

Hello everyone! I been trying to make a 1611 King James Holy Bible plain 1611 text with all original spelling and word for word in a handy-sized leather Bible. I ask if you guys can pray for me on that so we can have one in our hands! I know they have a 1611 in Roman type but is too small. They have the layout just like in 1611 but I want to make one without the layout and have just the plain text original spelling large print 1611 Bible. If anyone wants to join and help me make this project that will be GREAT!
on the subject of singing, at a wedding, the song started (all things bright and beautiful), so i started belting it out (i am not a good singer but good-enough who cares lol), and i realised nobody else was singing, so i looked around like huh, whats wrong with everyone, they singing at 5 percent volume. in a church. on a wedding. how very strange. so started lengthening out the ends of the notes so that ppl could coordinate, but still, ppl very quiet, ended up singing by myself I THOUGHT SINGIN AND WEDDINGS WAS SPOSED TO BE FUN, GUYS (the words was infront of us, so that wasnt the problem) https://www.youtube.com/shorts/eeRe5lQdWi0
Proverbs 12:18 "There is that speaketh ike the pearcings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is heath." Proverbs 18:8 "The words of a tale bearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly." Verses on Elsie's mind. Solomon teaches us to govern our thoughts and words.
some ppl in places, say u cant control ur words and thoughts, like they come from outside of u (like a cloud) and u arent the source, but just some kinda processor who just have to accept (and therefore approve and not judge) of everything that flys by. isnt it weird that the bible says we have (atleast some) self-control,responsibility,ownership,ccountability, but the world says we dont? (thinking of fruits of spirit)
was thinking of these today Proverbs 18:8; Proverbs 12:18; Judges 3:20-26
Hi Hillis, Just lucky I guess...or maybe unlucky depending on how you look at it.
Wow! How do you do that with your voice? 🤣
Kenneth, I never heard the song Just Give Me Jesus until you mentioned it. I listened to it. I find it has nothing in common with the song I wrote and just posted. Perhaps I'm missing something.
Hi Dylan, I didn't know you are a bass player. I too have a Fender Precision. I haven't played it in years. I play bass parts on the keys.
Hi Kenneth, Are you saying I took this from a song called "Just Give Me Jesus?"
Yes Reg, the song was released in 2019 I thought the words in the song magnified our Lord.
Taken from a song called " Just Give Me Jesus" if I gain the world it would never be it would never be enough Just give me Jesus!
I wish they would play this tune when they put me on hold on a phone 📞 call 👍
Making me want to dust off the fender pbass! Nice work.
Very catchy tune Reg, easy listening.
