DevLog: World Map
Hello everyone, long time no see!
The main focus of this update is the world map. We have finished drawing most of the elements on the in-game world map, and below are some work-in-progress screenshots. Please note that since the game is still under active development, content is subject to frequent changes.
As you can see, this map covers a variety of locations, including villages, refugee camps, ruined hamlets, goblin cave nests, mines, swamps, forests, ancient ruins, a trial tower holding prisoners, and an ancient holy city.
Every glowing location will feature one or more thrilling adventures—and, naturally, terrifyingly powerful bosses waiting for you there. As we mentioned before, the game will feature over 20 bosses. Beyond these main locations, you might also encounter formidable foes in unexpected hidden areas.
Players will be able to freely explore most regions, and the order in which you complete quests or defeat bosses is not fixed. If a particular area proves too difficult, feel free to explore other regions first to gather stronger equipment before returning to the challenge.

Is there any talk about potentially making a "physical" release for this game? I'd love to be able to purchase a Steam code but that includes some physical rewards, like a poster, or an oppai mousepad, a guidebook, a box, stuff like that.
its really looks amazing and i really would like to try it. will there be like versions that we will try before the full release?
Oh that looks very good. I love the atmosphere it gives. Now that you have revealed a map with multiple paths, I do have a question. Is the story going to be a linear progression or can you choose which route you take first? Also, if the plan is a linear progression is sequence breaking being planned?
The main story is linear, but players can choose to play side stories at any time.

That would be incredibly optimistic. Games like these take quite a few years for indie teams to make. We only have 1 demo so far and a second one coming and it would be poor practice to rush the developers to finish their game. A game is done when it is done.
The detail of the world map is amazing, it's beautiful and looks so moody and atmospheric, i'm always amazed by the game's artstyle. The style in which the map is presented is also really nice, it reminds me of old JRPG games where they had a world map you could explore. I hope we can move on the world map as Verity to explore it instead of some generic symbol that represents her. I like the nonlinear approach in allowing the player to explore any place they want, that's one aspect of Elden Ring i really loved so i'm glad it's here aswell. Having so many different places to visit is going to make exploration feel fresh and really interesting. It all looks super impressive, fantastic job as always ❤️❤️
