A Message to Our Players: Temporary Pause on Apostate Verity Development

We have some bad news to share with everyone.

The lead programmer of our game development team recently underwent lumbar spine surgery and is currently in post-operative recovery.

As many of you know, we are a very small team with only a single programmer, making this news a significant setback for us.

We discussed the idea of bringing in a new programmer to take over the development of Apostate Verity. However, our programmer believes that waiting about six months for their full recovery will allow development to resume, and none of us felt comfortable introducing a new member midway through development, as it could lead to potential complications and conflicts.

Therefore, we regret to announce that the development of Apostate Verity will be temporarily paused for approximately six months. The exact duration will depend on our team member’s recovery progress.

We sincerely apologize to all the friends and players who have supported us.

In the meantime, the rest of the team has made a decision.

While waiting for our programmer’s recovery, we will collaborate with other game developers on a few smaller-scale projects to make the best use of our time.

These new projects will be completely separate from Apostate Verity and will be handled by different programmers. This approach directly addresses our original programmer's concerns about potential project disruption, while ensuring the team remains fully active and working hard.
