IDSG Bonus Episode 3: Bob Roberts (1992)

We had a bit of a delay in production while I dealt with some technical issues with my computer setup (turned out my hard drive was slowly failing) but it looks like we're up and running now and hopefully better than ever. Thanks to all of you for supporting me and allowing me to buy the hardware I needed -- without you, this show would likely have gone on hiatus for a few months until I could perform the necessary upgrades.

Anyway, this month's bonus is on the 1992 Tim Robbins written and directed film Bob Roberts. Robbins stars as the titular character, an ultraconservative folk singer/day trader who also happens to be running for US Senate in Pennsylvania. It's a mockumentary of sorts and is very much worth your time.

There's an excellent interview Tim Robbins did about the film here: https://melmagazine.com/en-us/story/tim-robbins-interview-bob-roberts-movie-download

Robbins himself encourages people to pirate the film in that interview, so I'll include the link to Rarelust where you can download it. https://rarelust.com/bob-roberts-1992/#more-72058

Unfortunately it is not currently streaming anywhere.

Enjoy the bonus episode, we'll be back to regular programming very soon.
