IDSG Bonus Run Hide Fight Infidels
Jack and I watched the latest Daily Wire travesty. It's bad. I explain the history of Run, Hide, Fight as corporate bullshit and a tiny potted history of Project Greenlight, and also a simply terrible film.
The Run Hide Fight corporate training video I've watched multiple times. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VcSwejU2D0

I got to see the exact same Run Hide Fight video during my supermarket onboardings. Shooter has such cop vibes.
And another thing, hard disagree that Event Horizon is bad.
I suspect the reason for the prolonged “kicked off the roof” falling scene is how dangerous the set was. This might have been filmed after the sheet of glass incident while they were trying to keep from killing the actor. I find it very funny that the Christian fascists watching this movie will find themselves agreeing with the ISIL terrorists on everything to do with queer people, including lynching the trans kid. They won’t notice or care or have any cognitive dissonance, but it’s very funny how Shapiro accidentally said that his audience of Christian extremists is exactly the same as the Muslim extremists. Also, Citizen Vigilante was worse from a technical perspective, but it’s more effective Nazi propaganda. Leaving aside that this piece of shit was made by Israeli asset Ben Shapiro’s network, Black dudes have heroic parts in this movie and the German guy is implied to be a Muslim convert, plus there’s the whole angle of a white German picking up Islam instead of only associating with the ISIL terrorists until he’s got what he wants and is in the best position to kill them - but that’s the whole “ISIL = Nazis” bad faith bullshit common among idiots and racist liars, especially Israeli ones or Israeli sympathizers. The whole thing about “looking for my daddy” didn’t really come off to me as a joke because that kind of thing is what you probably should say to a little kid who’s scared and lost if you’re the security guard trying to help - you want to reassure them and establish rapport, etc. But considering that the only people voluntarily watching this shit are racists and sickos of one kind or another, yeah, they probably thought it was going to be a funny racial joke.
We must stare into the darkness so we can understand and defeat it
that video you linked. there's something incredible surreal and off putting about combining that boring instructional film tone with that subject matter. like it has the feel of a film about what to do if there's like a fire in the office or a co-worker has a heart attack, but its about what to do if there's a massacre. ...also the guy they got to play the shooter is Temu Vin Diesel
I'd like to hear you two talk about the first Run Hide Fight movie. partly just because these movie bonuses are fun, but also because I think itd be interesting to hear you two talk about school shootings. Like you're further left than most people I've seen talking about that.
Having seen the first one but not the second, it sounds like this ks a really good example of the difference between a conservative movie designed to make people want to go to the theater (as Cinestate had been having some success doing with their prior work) and a conservative movie designed to keep people using an app they already paid for.
I've been looking forward to the IDSG review of this movie. I've heard lots of reviews, but I'm more interested in knowing what the Nazis have to say about it. No one else is covering that like this podcast will! ❤️
This is mostly just discussing the film although we get into a little bit of that in the episode.
