Rap Fans React To Taylor Swift's King Of My Heart - Reputation Tour | Journey To The Eras Tour PT12
The Journey to the Eras Tour continues!
Today we're diving into one of the most requested Taylor Swift songs we've ever had on our list—King of My Heart from Reputation.
This episode ended up becoming something special.
Originally, we only planned on reacting to the lyrics, but after hearing the song for the first time, Rick and Robert liked it so much they asked to hear it again...and by the end of the episode we couldn't resist pulling up the legendary Reputation Stadium Tour performance.
Before we even get into the music, we finally explain one of the longest-running inside jokes on Hazed Reactions—the Dave Chappelle "Dylan, Dylan, Dylan..." sketch that somehow gets quoted in what feels like every episode.
We also talk about:
• Why this song has stayed on our request list for so long
• How King of My Heart fits into our Journey to the Eras Tour series
• Taylor's inspiration from Game of Thrones
• The connection between Daenerys Targaryen and Khal Drogo
• The Dothraki-inspired drum patterns
• Max Martin & Shellback's incredible production
• Shellback's surprising heavy metal background
• Taylor's flow, cadence, rhyme patterns, and vocal performance
• Why this instrumental feels completely unique
• Rick calling this one of his favorite Taylor bridges so far
• Watching this Reputation Stadium Tour performance for the very first time
• Taylor's unbelievable stage presence, choreography, stamina, and performance ability
This episode became one giant appreciation for just how much work goes into being Taylor Swift—not just as a songwriter, but as a world-class performer.
We hope you enjoy another stop on our Journey to the Eras Tour!

This Live on the REP tour may have been my favorite performance!
The transition after Taylor leaves the stage is the best part of the drums. I would have them watch that, it is unreal 🤩
I think you guys would love the Making of a Song series of videos for Reputation! They were a series of videos released of behind the scenes of the writing and recording of a bunch of the songs. There are playlists of the videos on YouTube.
Omg it’s so funny you guys showed the “Dylan” clip! I’m about your guys age, so I didn’t even consider some people wouldn’t know the reference lol
Haha yea and we’ve gotten tons of comments and messages on the other social platforms saying they had no idea what it was haha glad to find someone else who knew too 😍🫶🏼
Definitely react to the whole Rep Tour! The drum solos as she transitions off stage and the dancers are amazing for this song. The Rep Tour actual video if you can find it is so much better than this one.
Yea we looked for like 10 minutes on YouTube and majority were this same version or had horrible audio 😭 I’m hoping all this work she’s doing with Disney leads to them hosting all her tour movies in one place. That would be so amazing!
20:30 not Robert guessing the Rep Tour decor!?!
Haha right?! I was laughing just waiting to show them the live 🤣🫶🏼
There is also after that performance with more drumming and back up vocals which is also fire
I thought so!!! Damn now I’m mad I didn’t find the one with the closing part on it 😭 guess we gotta just do the whole rep tour now!!!
The boys would absolutely LOVE the live. Pretty please play that one for them even if we don’t see it.
My bad I should have just waited. Lol. Thank you for showing them that one. ❤️
Just a little "invisible strings" moment... It's crazy y'all posted this today. I have a TS lyric calendar at work that has a different Taylor lyric for each day. Today's lyric is "Up on the roof with a school girl crush, drinking beer out of plastic cups."
Omgg how cool!!!! That’s too funny because this was supposed to be posted yesterday but I was sick so had to push it out a day 😍 I love invisible strings that show us we’re where we’re supposed to be 🫶🏼♥️
The rest of the performance after Taylor leaves the stage is unreal. They will love the drums. I saw the Rep tour live and that performance was my favorite of the night.
Absolutely. The transition when Taylor leaves the stage is the best part with the drums.
I actually did go to the Reputation Stadium Tour twice. The last two shows of the US leg of the tour. It still blows my mind I was there when they were recording it at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The vibe was so incredible!
I can’t even IMAGINE! Honestly all her concerts just seem like a world in their own and man what an incredible experience! I hope I get to go to the next one 🤞🏼
Yes Taylor always has her band and backup singers on stage. She takes pride in doing most or all of live.
Yess I love this about her! I know there’s debate about whether or not she uses a little help during some of her older songs to help give her a little break but idc 😅 majority of artists do that and if she is doing it, it’s not like we haven’t heard her perform those same songs before and know she can do it so idc haha 🫶🏼
The live version from The Repuation Stadium Tour is 🔥. Maybe you can find it on YouTube.
