Chapter 4 - Devlog #2

Hey there!

Another week is over, which means it's time for another development update.

This week was very productive, although most of the work isn't particularly visible from the outside yet. I was mainly focused on fully preparing the new characters and environments for the chapter. There will be quite a few new characters and locations, so roughly half of the week was spent entirely on creating and setting them up.

I spent the remaining days actually preparing the first scenes.

So in terms of completed renders, the visible progress is still relatively small, which brings me to a small organizational announcement.

As I've already mentioned, Chapter 4 is turning out to be the biggest chapter so far. Naturally, that also means the rendering stage is going to take noticeably longer than usual. For the next few weeks, I'll be focused almost entirely on that, so weekly devlogs during this period may become a little repetitive: "I made more renders, and now I'm making even more renders."

Because of that, I'm considering temporarily switching to one full devlog every two weeks. I think this would make the updates more substantial, while also avoiding the need to tell you more or less the same thing every single week.

Of course, the weekly teasers and previews for paid supporters aren't going anywhere.
