Chapter 3. Release dates.

Hi everyone!

First of all, I'd like to apologize for being mostly silent over the past couple of weeks.

Some of you may remember that a few months ago I planned a short trip that ended up being canceled at the very last moment. The reason was a health issue, and this week I had to undergo another surgery.

The good news is that everything went well. I'm already back home and slowly recovering. That's the reason things have been a little quiet lately. Hopefully my health will finally stop interfering with my plans.

Now, on to the important part.



Chapter 3 of Undawn is almost ready for release.

All renders, scenes, and the main coding are complete. During the coming week I want to recover properly and give everything one final pass, including the script, achievements, scene transitions, and a few interface improvements, so I can release the cleanest build possible.

Without spoiling too much, Chapter 3 continues Vera's story while also pushing Rhiannon and Irsha's relationship forward. Some scenes and events will change depending on the choices you've made in previous chapters.

Those of you who decided to pursue something deeper with your loyal demoness will be rewarded with two different Irsha scenes, each offering a very different emotional tone.

You'll also meet quite a few new characters. Some of them will become important to the main story, while others are simply smaller encounters that I hope you'll remember.

There's also a small cameo by a friend of mine. She happily agreed to appear in the game and even gave me permission to eventually develop her character into a full-fledged love interest. For now, it's only a brief introduction, but perhaps it'll grow into something more in the future.

I've also spent some time improving the game's interface. A world map has been added and can now be found in the Glossary. At the moment, that felt like the most appropriate place for it, since creating a dedicated button just for the map seemed unnecessary.

For those of you who play with hints enabled, there's another small addition. Character pages in the Glossary will now display relationship points, their names, current values, and descriptions, including Rhiannon's own stats. This information automatically appears whenever hints are enabled.
