Chapter 3 - Devlog #4

Hi!

A new week, a new update!

Unfortunately for me and fortunately for you, I never got that break. Right before my trip, a small emergency came up and forced me to stay home.

As a result, I spent the entire week working and made some significant progress. Scenes covering roughly half of the chapter are now nearly finished and currently sitting in the render queue.

I'd like to give you a small glimpse of what awaits you in this chapter, since my paid supporters have already seen a few hints.

The entire chapter will be split between three, or perhaps even three and a half, points of view: Rhiannon, Vera, and a new character, Liendel. If you've been following the game since the beginning, you probably already know who she is. Through her story, I want to show life in a completely different corner of the world.

This chapter will also contain a bit more lore and geography than usual. From the very beginning, I tried not to overwhelm players with massive information dumps, preferring to let everyone ease into the setting naturally.

This time you'll learn a little more about what lies beyond the relatively comfortable world Rhiannon has built for herself. I've tried to present that information as naturally and clearly as possible, although I'm sure even this will be too much for some people.

Speaking of Liendel, she will eventually become one of the game's potential love interests, so getting the chance to see the world through her eyes may prove useful.

Irsha will once again receive a significant amount of focus in her storyline. She has her own problems to deal with, and you'll have the opportunity to influence how those problems are resolved. As a result, you'll encounter two different sex scenes tied to two different paths.

If you've already played Zaghrona's route, you'll probably understand what I'm talking about. This time, however, it's not about choosing the right or wrong path. Instead, this will be one of the first truly important turning points that helps define what kind of relationship Irsha and Rhiannon will have in the future.

So don't say I didn't warn you and that the choice system is broken, unfair, impossible to understand, and designed solely to ruin your life.
