Chapter 2 — Devlog #5

Hello everyone.

Another week of working on renders is almost over. This time I managed to complete significantly more than last week, so the progress is going quite well. For now there is not much else to say about the preparation process itself. One thing worth mentioning though is that I have reached roughly the halfway point of the script.

A few words about the content. As I mentioned before, Chapter 2 will be heavily focused on Vera and Niko. However, there will be much more to discover beyond that.

Several very important characters will appear, including one of the main antagonists of the game. A small spoiler. It will be a woman. In the future she will cause quite a lot of trouble, but for now this is only a brief glimpse of who she is.

Irsha's storyline will also move forward in a significant way. Your interactions in the previous chapters may influence how she behaves toward the end. The game is gradually shifting its focus from side characters to the main love interests, and the first of them will be your beloved dju'hira.

I have also received mixed feedback regarding the point systems tied to some side characters and their scenes. I do not plan to make any drastic changes, but I will continue to follow the internal logic of the world and the characters themselves. With some of them it will be easier to build relationships, with others it will be far more difficult.

For example, gaining Irsha's approval and developing a relationship with her will be somewhat easier than with some other characters. After all, she has been living alongside Rhiannon for around seven hundred years and is far from indifferent toward her. Because of that, there will not be a strict point system for her.

That said, even your relationship with Irsha is not completely safe. If you continue treating her like an ice queen, she may eventually decide to leave.
