π Stylish Relationship Tracker v1.5.0: Status Tags and Player Editing
v1.5.0 adds Item rewards for relationship ranks and lets permitted players save relationship progress while no GM is connected, including party-shared progress. It also adds global and personal character statuses, document links in relationship text, and controls for Gift reactions and dialogue.
π Rank Item Rewards
In Relationship Manager > Progress, choose a target rank and drop an Item onto the reward row, then save. The character receives the Item when the relationship first reaches that rank after setup, without needing a Macro.
Crossing several ranks grants each reward along the way. Losing and regaining a rank does not grant the same reward again, and party-shared relationships track delivery separately for each character.
Rewards copy the source Item's data and quantity into a separate inventory entry. Each reward shows whether it is waiting, granted, or failed; GMs can retry unpaid rewards.
Adding a reward at a rank already reached does not grant it immediately.
βοΈ Editing Without a Connected GM
Players with the required editing permissions can save personal relationship records, ranks, and progress while an owner of the Actor is online. Party-shared ranks and progress can also be changed without a GM.
A GM must connect once with this version to prepare shared progress storage. After that, a party member can change shared progress even when the other members are offline. Those members see the saved changes when they return.
If a relationship shares only its content, each character can also edit its own rank and progress without a GM.
Rank Macros and earned Item rewards wait for a GM to connect. The save notification and Relationship Manager show what is waiting. When a GM returns, saved shared changes are applied to every member before those effects run.
Processed changes and granted rewards are recorded to prevent duplicates on reconnect. If a Macro starts but is interrupted, it is left for the GM to check instead of being replayed automatically.
Shared relationship settings and records, manual lock changes, Gifts, and GM-only settings still require a connected GM. When a save needs a GM, the editor explains why and keeps the unsaved draft.
βοΈ Relationship Reordering
Use the up and down buttons beside an entry in the Relationship Manager to change its position without recreating it. GMs can reorder people and organizations; players with Relationship Structure editing permission can reorder editable character relationships.
Each move saves immediately and updates the open relationship view. Records, the selected entry, unsaved edits, and scroll positions are preserved.
People and organizations keep separate orders. A player's changes leave hidden and non-editable entries in place.
π Foundry Document Links
Drop a Journal, Journal page, Actor, or Item into a supported text field to insert a link at the cursor, or paste an @UUID[...] reference. Clicking the link opens the document above the Tracker, with normal viewing permissions.
Links work in relationship bios, Stat Card values, Event Log text, and Scene Recall recollections and quotes. Organization descriptions, history, and the descriptions and logs of relationships between organizations support them too.
The map's description panels and the GM Gift Request's Event Note also support links. All six themes display them; existing Notes keep their rich-text editor.
Tracker panels keep their scroll positions when the same content is rendered again. Switching relationships or Notes starts the new detail at the top.
π Gift Reactions and Dialogue
With Require GM Approval for Player Gifts enabled, the Gift Request screen has a Reaction row. It lists the target's Gift Profile reactions and their progress values, with the reaction selected by the profile's rules marked Auto.
Choose another reaction before Approve Gift to use its progress, Cut-in Image, and SFX. The chosen reaction also determines whether the Item is consumed or kept.
Rejected keeps the Item by default: approving with this reaction shows the rejection and leaves the Item with the giver. Reject Request still cancels the Gift without playing a reaction.
The Line field starts with the selected reaction's dialogue. Changing reactions replaces it until you edit it yourself; after that, your text stays. The reset button restores the selected reaction's Line.
On approval, the reaction shows that Line. It also becomes the Event Log text when the player's Event Note is empty. Leave Line empty to show the reaction without dialogue.
π·οΈ Global and Personal Character Statuses
In Relationship Manager > General, assign Deceased, Missing, Injured, or Imprisoned to a character. Global Statuses and Personal Statuses for This Relationship are separate sections.
GMs set global statuses on the linked Actor. These appear wherever that Actor is shown. Personal statuses stay on one character's relationship record, even in a shared relationship: Aria's personal selection for an NPC does not change Bram's selection for that NPC.
Personal Character Statuses in the permission settings defaults to Owner and follows the existing player editing, role, and relationship restrictions. With permission and an owner of the relationship's Actor online, players can save personal statuses without a GM. Each character's selections remain separate when others reconnect.
Badges beside character names identify global and personal statuses. Selecting the same status in both sections shows one badge; clearing the personal selection leaves the global status in place. Locked relationships keep their statuses hidden from players.
GMs can use Edit Status Types to rename types, choose icons and colours, or add custom types. Both sections use this list. Each type can leave the portrait unchanged, fade its colours, or fade it with a red X. All six themes support the effects; clearing every status with an effect restores the portrait's colours. Existing Actor dead marks become global Deceased statuses, while marks on entries without a linked Actor stay personal.
Selecting or clearing a status saves immediately and preserves other unsaved edits and scroll positions. Status type edits also preserve changes saved from another window; if edits conflict, the draft stays available and the GM is asked to reopen the editor.
π±οΈ Adventurer's Ledger Hover
Hovering over relationship cards and buttons now requires less repeated painting. Colours, brightness, and shadows change immediately, while their final appearance and the existing movement animation stay the same.
Bug Fixes
Blocked unmatched Gifts: When no Gift rule matched and Unmatched Gift was set to Block, approving the request could fail. The screen now explains the block and keeps Approve Gift unavailable until the GM chooses a reaction.
Typing during Gift reactions: Space, Enter, Escape, and Tab could go to the reaction instead of the active text field, dropping spaces or closing the reaction. Text fields now keep their keys and focus, including when a reaction appears while someone is typing.
Relationship map portrait: Tall images at the center of the map could spill outside the portrait frame. They are now cropped to fit it.
Closing the Manager: Closing the Relationship Manager immediately after interacting with it could cause an error. Pending view updates now handle the closed window.
Requires: Foundry VTT v13 or v14 and GlitchSmith Library v0.13.0 or later.
