as someone who has only been spoiled about stu being the killer but never actually got to see the whole movie, this was still such a ride to watch because wow i NEVER knew that billy was the initial master mind! mind was blown and i was thoroughly entertained to share such an experience with dnp in the mix lol

i like how exaggerated all the characters are in the film, they're like clowns. my favourite part was all the people in the lounge watching and commenting on the horror movie they were watching, that was super fun i loved the energy of it. shame about all the murders it would've been a lovely party otherwise

i knew about the twist from tumblr gifsets but im a bit face blind so i couldn't remember which skinny white blokes who talk like serial killers were the relevant ones. and yeah no they were definitely sucking and fucking but i don't think they identified it as a gay thing even tho the sexual tension between them was palpable. they literally impaled each other consensually and one of them got a bit too into it so the other one was left covered in blood and unable to walk properly like come on. that murder plot was their creative baby that's why one of them had his head on the other's shoulder like it's a pregnancy photoshoot while they did their villain dialogue.

This isnt a scary movie but you guys should 100% watch Fellow Travelers. Its very gay and about politics. It has Jonathan Bailey and Matt Bomer as the main characters. Fellow Travelers walked so heated rivalry could run. It has some very spicy scenes and an incredible story. It starts in the 50s and ends in the 80s. It explores the challenges and resilience of the queer community during the Red and Lavender Scares, and the AIDS crisis a time of great societal struggle.

This was my first time watching a proper horror movie! I'm also a teenager like Phil was :) I would say who I suspected but I never really came to a conclusion when I thought about it. HELL YEAH! I'm so glad they chose this movie - it's phenomenal!!! It was even more fun watching it the second time with dads! When they remarked on Dewey's desk setup at the police station, I was really hoping they'd catch the shot of his "boob inspector" hat because that's fucking crazy, bro 😭... the first time I watched this, I thought the killer was going to be a woman for the first bit because the question about Jason/Mrs. Vorhees and then the conversation about how it had to be a "real man" felt like foreshadowing, but I became less sure once I eliminated Tatum as a suspect and I'd totally abandoned that theory by the garage scene when you hear Ghostface grunting. I was hitting myself for never considering two killers at the reveal, because it seemed so obvious from the chair being thrown through the backdoor and then the killer seeming to be by the front door when Casey asks "who's there" that it was impossible for it to be one person. I remember being confused by that, but it just left my mind. That's what makes the question at the beginning about which door the killer was at so clever - Casey literally could not have answered correctly, because one of them was at each door! This movie is honestly so ingenious.

I'd never seen it before - I'm not one for scary movies because scary things stick in my brain too well (I'm still trying to get over the Nightmare on Elm Street remake I saw in 2010) but this was great! I was invested in the story and there wasn't anything I feel like will haunt me (haha). The commentary definitely helped, too. Great choice!

I've literally never seen this movie...and I was actually talking to my friend at work today about how Temu is always recommending stuff with Matthew and Skeet from Scream on them(and how I'm always tempted because they're both my celebrity crushes)...and then I see that the philm club movie was Scream? now I have an excuse to actually buy stuff with these hotties after finally watching the movie. 🤪 Matthew is literally such a goofball and he's actually so smart and funny and talented. I feel like he doesn't get the recognition he deserves because everyone always sees him as a cheesy character actor because of stuff like scooby-doo, but he's actually so amazing. one of my all time favorite movies is SLC Punk and he stars in it and it's so good. sequel was okay, but the original is worth the watch, in my opinion. okay. I'm gonna stop gushing about Matthew Lillard. it's almost midnight now that I finished watching this after getting off work. time to sleep and have nightmares, I guess. 😅😂

Love the Philm club! However, most of the time the audio from the movie is significantly quieter than the audio from Dan and Phil. It’s hard to hear the movie unless I have turned way up so the boys’ commentary is way too loud. It’s especially hard without movie captions turned on (Patreon captions didn’t pick up probably half of the movie dialogue). Would really appreciate adjusting the audio levels and captions! But still absolutely love and appreciate the Philm club and I love watching you guys react to different movies/shows ❤️

From my understanding so far: If her mom's suspected killer is getting put to death just because of her testimony the other evidence isn't being used or there was no way to test said evidence? Gayle said that her mom was raped, forensic semen analysis at that point were DNA could be collected from it had been around for about 10 years so he must be connected in that way. That's why it being consensual was brought up as that itself is linked. Bro left his jacket maybe when running away? I'm guessing the dad found out and wanted to kill him then in a crime of betrayal and passion killed his wife. Then easy peesy frames the dude. Then dad happens to be away and unreachable for an extended period of time in which this is all happening around the anniversary no less. I'm still trying to figure out why he'd kill the two rando kids, maybe to figure out a system? Hopefully my questions will get answered

Mid movie here! And this is the first time I haven't already seen the philm club movie/show. My theory is that the killer is the blond girl's boyfriend (I forgot his name); my reasoning is that we need a character who has had a big enough part in the movie and that we know enough about for the answer to be satisfying (which disqualifies the missing dad I think); the killer also needs a relationship with the principal, since he was one of the victims, and I don't think any adults would've cared about what the principal had to say or known much about the principal; and a killer who also has a somewhat close relationship to the main girl (also forgot her name lol). From the very first scene with them all sitting by the fountain, I thought it had to be one of the main girl's friends. And didn't they mention he dated Drew Barrymore previously? Possibly the blond friend is also in on it since she mentioned "it could be a girl" but not certain about that yet. That's my long winded theory.

The killer is too skinny and bad at fighting to be any of the men. And she has a motive to convince people it's the same killer as the year before, apparently exonerating Cotton. I wouldn't be surprised if she turns out to be his cousin or something.
